Fantasypaedia contributor @FPL_Architect is back with his weekly thread!
In this thread, he will be focusing on some players who are getting overlooked because of blanks & doubles and have a decent run of fixtures from GW26 to GW28.
We’re awaiting a definite fitness update on Maddison, but it looks likely that he’ll be ready in time for GW 26, and if so he becomes a great pick. He’s only owned by 4.5% and with great fixtures coming up...
…he’s a decent differential. Good fixtures in GW 26-27, plays in GW 28, and has a DGW in GW 29 as well. Maddison averages an attacking return every 97 mins this season, and he has haul potential in any game. Could see him outscoring Arsenal or even Brighton mids going forward.
🔵Joao Félix (7.6m) – Chelsea
Fixtures GW 26-28: LEE, lei, EVE
Chelsea really don’t impress right now, especially not in attack, but Joao Felix has shown he’s quality and if anyone is going to score in that attack, it’s him. The fixtures going forward are actually pretty good…
…for Chelsea. Leeds and Leicester don’t have great defences and then Everton (H) in a BGW followed by a DGW in GW 29 makes up a decent fixture run. The fixtures could justify going for Felix over someone like Watkins for the next few weeks, despite Chelsea’s form.
🔴Bruno Fernandes (9.8m) – Man Utd
Fixtures GW 26-28: liv, SOU, –
Bruno is pretty much only an option if you’re playing your Free Hit in GW 28, or if you have a good team for that week and can afford to bench him. In those cases, he becomes a great, somewhat overlooked, pick.
United can definitely score against Liverpool in GW 26, the GW 27 fixture vs Southampton is great and then they double in GW 29. Bruno has 3 goals and 5 assists in 10 PL games since the restart, and with lots of FPL managers having money left over, spending it on Bruno is viable.
🦊Kelechi Iheanacho (6.2m) – Leicester
Fixtures GW 26-28: sou, CHE, bre
Iheanacho has always been a very explosive FPL asset when he gets game time. He has now started 4 PL games in a row and despite being taken off after 60-70 mins, he’s scored 2 goals and made 3 assists.
The fixtures are great going forward, Southampton and Chelsea in GW 26-27 are games in which Leicester should score, they then have a fixture in BGW 28 and double after that in GW 29. Iheanacho might not start all these games, but he’s quite likely to return whenever he starts.
🌳Morgan Gibbs-White (5.5m) – Nottingham Forest
Fixtures GW 26-28: EVE, tot, NEW
If you’re for some reason not keen on Brighton midfielders, Gibbs-White could be an ultra-differential option. Forest play in BGW 28 and have a DGW in GW 29 consisting of WOL (H) and LEE (A).
Gibbs-White has 2 goals and 6 assists this season, that’s by no means great but when Forest score, he’s often involved. Only 0.5% of FPL managers own MGW, so if he manages to deliver some attacking returns over the next 3-4 GWs, he’ll result in a lot of rank gain for his owners.

Haaland has been one of the deadliest strikers in the world for the last few years, outperforming his xG every single season in the Bundesliga with Dortmund, as this image from Understat reflects –
Haaland is among the top forwards for most attacking metrics in the last year, as can be seen from the comparison table taken from FBRef.
Note the high number of shots taken p90, as well as touches in the penalty area – he is a high-volume shooter and gets on the end of moves.
