March 2022 was an emotionally low month.

The Kashmir files had released & it stirred all bolted emotions.

This is how I reviewed the movie last year after the first watch.

Day1 I felt nothing , but then it slowly started working like a slow poison & I barely slept that month.
all bottled up emotions **
1. Finally Saw #kashmirifiles and I wasn't shocked, trust me hardly any tears and no sleepless nights for me, I think we have had our share of sleepless nights already in past since 1990.
2. We knew it, we have seen it, and we have gone through it.

For KPs, these heart-wrenching stories are part of almost every family gathering.

Hats off to @vivekagnihotri he hasn't diluted the narration, so brave of him. दण्ड प्रणाम
3. Now the whole world will see what my community has gone through in the last 30+ years.

This movie is just the tip of the iceberg, Girija Tikoo Ji ( Role played by Sharda Pandit @bhashasumbli) in the movie had a more painful.
4. Thanks to @vivekagnihotri Ji for not encashing on the rape scenes and maintaining the dignity of our women.

The boy Shiva was the one I related to most, as was closer to his age when we left the valley.
5. The difference between Shiva & Krishna is the same as my generation and my brother's generation.

I have the faintest memories and he has none.

I have seen and sensed but he purely has to trust our narrative.
6. Kids born after the 90s mostly feel that it happened in some far-fetched world with some people who we barely knew.

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri Ji has documented narrations of many Kashmiri Pandits during his research - Hope he comes up with documentary series on them.
7. 5 lakh pandits left the valley in a night, there are 5lakh stories.

यह सच इतना सच है कि यह सच लगता ही नहीं

If you have to take a few learnings from the movie then I think these are the ones

-> Wokism is Cancer.
8. -> Please do your research to believe any narrative, don't be a sheep.

-> And when you have done self-analysis then spread the narrative - keeping quiet helps NO ONE, else history will repeat itself in other parts of the world.
-> When it comes to your family, your culture, your self-respect, your Dharma be a Kali Maa.
like slow poison **

15. krimchi temples (Udhampur - Jammu).

Complex of 7 ancient temples.
Dating back to 8th & 9th century and one of the oldest temples in Jammu.
Temples reflect ‘Nagara’ style of architecture.

Some sources say that they were built by Dev dynasty of Jammu.
Even though the walls are eroded, I found similarities to the temples in Bhuvneshwar built around the same era.

An hour in this complex took me centuries back.

I feel sorry so little is known about these temples even among locals in Jammu.
