the *false premise* of Second-Amendment cultism is that unrestrained ownership of firearms is the great equalizer. "God made Man but #Colt made them equal," and so forth.

the @NRA, the @GOP, and bountiful #conservative propaganda promote this idol: equality through guns.

but guns are just *things*, just stuff—consumer products—and therefore, allowing "anyone" to buy a gun favors only the idle rich. it's privileged "passive income" types like @Timcast and @Cernovich, people who have great gobs of free time and leisure, who hoard firearms.

they hoard *everything else*, too, not just guns. and they're hoping that if they create maximal chaos and uproar in American society, then suddenly the hoards of guns will matter more than most things—this is how the @elonmusk / @mtaibbi crowd hope to "win", more or less.

in practice of course only certain people can *easily* obtain firearms, and keep them without being immediately murdered by the police—only people who meet the general biases of @charlesmurray or @tedwheeler or a @PortlandPolice officer get to keep firearms safely.

if you're @Timcast's sort of melanin-deficient layabout you get to hoard guns, and the cops will actually be quite nice to you about it (see also murderer @ThisIsKyleR.) other people may have a harder time with the gun collections.

I honestly couldn't say. I'm not a violent person, even if I am a red-eyed avenger from a video game. I was never too violent back *then* either, but #Undertale fans may disagree with me there.

killing makes me sick. that's one reason that people like @Timcast sicken me.
