1/I've also been teaching the computer to extract and visualize text features from articles that might not be so easy to see, but for a deep read. Here's a wordcloud made from two articles (linked below) about the red-brown alliance within the #Occupy movement.
2/This is an important network to study because it's many of the same people responsible for January 6th, as well as the network we see turning up at the recent "Rage Against the War Machine" rally. It's essentially the same network, griping about the same things.
3/Here are the two articles summarized in the wordcloud above, both by Spencer Sunshine.

4/Both pieces give an essential overview of events that have been broadly misunderstood by the media and the public.
politicalresearch.org/2014/02/13/20-…
5/And here is a longer and broader overview I wrote last year, if you haven't seen it already.

6/While there were many earnest left-leaning participants in Occupy, it is an error to view it only through that lens. Many of the networks and people involved are now going full bore on 'third position' attacks within the US and Europe, in alliance with Putin. Pay attention.
7/And this recent piece covers the "Rage Against the War" LaRouche - Libertarian - Occupy axis.

I agree with this article, but think folks wrongly obsess over concerns that such efforts will be successful.

More concerning is the damage (and global effects) that may result from their ongoing dogged attempts to warp geopolitical alignments.

A year ago, people convinced themselves that China would curb Russia's impulse to invade, or even prevent it. Then they convinced themselves China would not support them. The writing was on the wall, and now China is overtly cozying to Russia and providing material aid.
Notably, Zagorsky misses the proposal voiced by Pozsar and Glazyev that Russia might start offering oil at a 50% discount, if paid in gold. That move, should they pursue it, will pose some challenge to the dollar within the BRICS+/GCC bloc.

1/“Right Wing” and “Left Wing” are no longer useful designators for identifying threats to democracy.

In an evolving world of populist, Third Position, illiberal chaos agents, it is *essential* that people begin to develop a better understanding.
2/In this, there is little practical difference between Ron Paul, Tulsi Gabbard, Marianne Williamson, Jill Stein, Donald Trump, or Ron DeSantis. They are all against “the system” and are happy to tear it down, or remake it in their own image, with populist, targeted messaging.
3/This is effectively Duginism, also derived from the ideas of Francis Parker Yockey, Willis Carto, and David Duke. It also is the foundation of the modern Libertarian party and the Occupy Movement.

Most of what people think they know about political history excludes this.

1/It's time to talk about "Anonymous."

Whatever it once was, it's turned into a Duginist information warfare outlet, spewing insane conspiracies and propaganda. See for yourself on their allegedly "verified" @YouTube channel.
youtube.com/@-anonymous
2/Yeah, @YouTube? How did you "verify" it? Some guy in ops knows a guy who vouched for it? What are you doing adding credibility to a channel pushing David Icke videos, claiming a cabal of Satanists is controlling the world? Look, I know quite well many people have claimed...
3/to be part of Anonymous, or to have founded it, etc... and the "group" is far from monolithic. The whole point of it is that it was supposed to be formless, permeable, and structureless.

Regardless, these "verified" and "official" accounts have large followings with a large...

1/There is a lot of stupid propaganda and fearmongering about CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies) going around, especially on the right, and about US plans. This talk by Nellie Liang lays out in clear terms the reality of the situation.
youtube.com/live/SdiF1uX6w…
2/First, there is no reason to think CBDCs will necessarily be a retail product, held by end users. If introduced, they are likely to be used for interbank settlements. But it’s not clear they offer a lot of benefit there over existing solutions. So what’s the point?
3/There may be marginal gains in interoperability and settlement with other central bank currencies, for fast conversions and the like. But for end users, they will be dealing with banks and payment solutions. And possibly stablecoins. But if the nascent “crypto” industry gets…

A pathway to “End the Fed?”

The case against the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau threatens the existence of its funder, the Federal Reserve, and other agencies not funded by Congressional appropriation. Potentially a *very* big deal.

npr.org/2023/02/27/115…
The court could declare the Fed unconstitutional. The SEC and FTC are also at risk of being invalidated. The 5th Circuit ruled against the SEC in Jarkesy vs. SEC in May; it is being appealed to the Supreme Court, but the solicitor general needs more time.
tax.thomsonreuters.com/news/supreme-c…
For those wondering, “so what?” We could find ourselves, within a few months, in a world where the dollar has no issuing authority and countless federal agencies are eliminated. All power would devolve to Congress. However one may feel, it would be massively disruptive.

I’m reporting on the “Rage Against the War Machine” event at the Lincoln Memorial.

In attendance: Russia simps, the Schiller Institute (Larouche), Ron Paul, Jill Stein, Tulsi Gabbard, Cynthia McKinney, and the usual suspects. All that’s missing is the late Robert David Steele.
Crowd is modest; passersby wondering what it is. Very much the libertarian crowd (who sponsored it) and absolutely thick with Larouche presence; they seem to perhaps be involved in organizing too.
This guy is flying the flag of the “Black Hundreds,” a notoriously brutal Russian monarchist movement currently aligned with Aleksandr Dugin’s third position philosophies.
