1./ #Transwashing.
Why did Hershey feel the need to use a transwoman to promote its "chocolate" for #InternationalWomensDay2023? Could it be that they failed to act on a 2001 commitment to guarantee they'd eradicated child labour from their supply chain?
washingtonpost.com/graphics/2019/…
2./ In 2021 they were named in a class action by 8 former child slaves from Mali. The case was dismissed because the plaintiffs couldn't provide documentary proof of every stage of the supply chain (something Hershey had committed to doing but hasn't). confectionerynews.com/Article/2022/0…
3./ Or perhaps Hershey's wokery is supposed to distract attention from being sued for having illegal levels of cadmium and lead in some of its products? If so it's proof of a growing trend: huge unaccountable firms love transwashing their troubled brands.

4./ Why do you think Hershey came over all transwashery on International Women's Day?

1./ How deluded is the LGBTQ+ lobby?
Its official history is certainly baloney. Here's a Senior Writer at @Salon churning out -yet again- the myth of the Hirschfeld clinic in 1920s Berlin. Yet Hirschfeld was a quack eugenicist whose staff promoted colonial conquest.😵‍💫

2./ @AmandaMarcotte either didn't read the article she linked or failed to notice a reference to Erwin Gohrbandt who conducted the first sex change surgery at Hirschfeld's behest. He'd go on to use his castration skills for the Nazis when he led the sterilisation of the disabled.
3./ He'd also collaborate with infamous experiments at Dachau. While Gohrbandt hadn't yet joined the Nazi Party when he did sex change surgery, his later championing of castration for racial hygiene means it's fair to question his motivations (along with Hirschfeld's).

1./ The sad story of John Nicolson MP. His many ex-friends from university tell me they've been waiting for his pomposity to implode. Imagine if Nadine Dorries or the BBC's Richard Sharp used words like this. John would have lambasted them.👇

2./ But "racist language" is the least of John's faults. 3 years ago he spread insane conspiracy theories from investigative genius and world-famous balloon acrobat David Paisley who claimed the charity @ALLIANCELGB was plotting to take over the SNP.😂
3./ The only evidence Paisley provided was that the gay charity used the same website host as a group of candidates for the SNP's Executive elections. But so do 12 million other people including Beyonce. This didn't deter Sherlock McNicolson. 👇🤣

1./ Why do so many people believe in gender identity? Psychological 'contagion' can convince people of almost anything. Take this example. US embassy staff in Cuba were convinced they were being assaulted by a secret sonic weapon. They weren't.👇
thetimes.co.uk/article/us-spi…
2./ The secret service agents were otherwise rational people who swore they were suffering from baffling symptoms. The scare started in Havana then went global. 2 years ago I said this was likely all in the mind. Turns out it was. Quelle Surprise. 👇
3./ If responsible adults who are constantly monitored by the US government can fall prey to delusions, why would teenagers going through puberty not be susceptible? Gender identity may be a mental health issue that proves humans aren't as rational as we love to think we are.

1./ Stonewall's Dodgy Wokescreen.
Croydon Council was a Stonewall Diversity Champion. It also went bankrupt with £1.6Bn in debt. These facts are not entirely unconnected. A review reveals the council spent money so badly the law may have been broken. 👇
thetimes.co.uk/article/how-sc…
2./ The Council shared with Stonewall a bullying approach. It worked secretly behind the scenes and bristled at any scrutiny, spending much of its time trying to close down critics, including a local website @InsideCroydon that criticised nepotism.
insidecroydon.com/2020/09/17/the…
3./ Like Stonewall, the Council relied on a network of friends in high places, an approach Inside Croydon dubbed "friendpotism". The council leader ensured a family friend got a consultancy job on a cool £800 a day. Croydon was exactly the sort of mark Stonewall loves.

1./ Great piece by @FraserNelson.
The hounding of @_KateForbes shames the LGBTQ+ movement. We were once viewed as a smart, liberal community that enlivened the cultural life of Scotland. Now we're content to be feared as heresy-finders and witch-burners.
telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/02/2…
2./ In the 60+ nations where being gay is criminalised these bullying attacks will be exploited by religious fundamentalists to argue gay rights are a zero sum game. Imagine the impact in Uganda where @ALLIANCELGB campaigns to improve the lot of gay peeps.
3./ These attacks also show how disconnected the LGBTQ+ lobby is from our shared history. As @holland_tom argues in 'Dominion', most social justice movements in the West have been inspired, unconsciously or not, by the Christian impulse to uplift the oppressed. Image

1./ Who’s going to be sued for the trans medical scandal?
There’s a clue in this new report into so-called “gender affirming care”. An investigation by the @bmj_latest reveals the entire project is based on pathetically poor evidence. Surprised?
I’m not.
bmj.com/content/380/bm…
2./ The report cites 3 groups who promoted this dangerous experiment with young people’s health. The American Academy of Paediatrics abandoned its mission to protect children after capture by the LGBTQ+ lobby, embracing “affirmation” as dogma. 👇

3./ WPATH is such a bizarre organisation that last year it added eunuchs to its list of gender identities and debated how best to transition children who had multiple personalities. Susie Green who hired a paedophile trustee for Mermaids was a signatory. Of course she
