(2/7) Only in America will the same student survive a mass shooting in elementary school and again in college. Since Columbine occurred in 1999, nearly 350,000 students have experienced gun violence in school in America. Schools should be safe spaces, not warzones.
(3/7) We’re demanding the Senate vote on S.25, the federal assault weapons ban, ASAP. Our survival in school depends on it. You can find us Friday, March 24 @ 11 am at Union Square in Washington, D.C
(4/7) We’ll be joined by survivors, student advocates, parents, educators- a coalition of GVP organizations (@bradybuzz, @changetheref, @Junior_NAA, @livesrobbed, @AMarch4OurLives , @march_fourth_ @Team_Enough) all rallying around this singular mission of banning assault weapons
