"Should have known you'd be out here." Izuku smiled softly, walking out onto the balcony where Katsuki sat in the cool breeze. "It is loud in there." He giggled, standing-

Next to him. "You'll just make it loud out here with your muttering." Katsuki rolled his eyes but Izuku knew he had no bite in his words, only fondness. "Have you been having fun?" He asked.

Izuku nodded, "I'm..really thankful for this class...I can't wait until we all-

Become pros and show off all this hard work we've done..though I'm gonna miss seeing everyone everyday.." He sighed, laying his head on his knees. "Everyone is so fun to be around.."

"You'll still see everyone often enough, nerd, you can't stay away from your friends for too-

Long and you know it." Katsuki chuckled which made Izuku giggle quietly. "Yeah..I guess you're right..but..everyone has been my family here..can't help but be kinda sappy about this." He muttered, looking up at the night sky that loomed over them.

"I can't wait for the opportunities to come though! This has been my dream for so long and now it's happening and I'm so excited!" He laid back on the ground which led Katsuki to do the same. "I never thought I'd make it this far.."

Katsuki looked at him for a moment before taking a breath, looking back up at the sky.

"Hey, Izuku?"

"What's up Kacchan?"

"You remember that dream we had when we were kids..we had just gotten icecream and hung out at the park?"

Izuku was quiet for a moment before he smiled-

A bit of a blush on his face. "How could I ever forget? That dream..I think it's what I've been holding onto throughout all we've been through." He whispered, messing with his hands. "You told me that day that we would become the best hero duo the world has ever seen.."

He smiled, reminiscing about that day. "That we'd be more powerful than All Might himself together.."

"God the way you're talking about it makes /me/ sound like the sap here." Katsuki laughed, hitting his arm playfully.

"As kids you kinda were!" Izuku laughed with him.

"You were more of a sap than I was!"

"At least I can admit it!"

Izuku sat up on his arm, looking down at him, "Why'd you bring that up?" He asked softly.

Katsuki met his gaze and his expression softened as he sat up, leaning on his hand.

"I think we should make that dream a reality."

Izuku gasped, completely sitting up, "R-Really? You..You really want to be a duo with me? L-Like we'll open our own agency and work together all the time a-and we become pros together a-"

"Yes, nerd! Yes. I want to become a-

Duo with you and let all that other stuff you said become a reality too." He cut him off before looking back at the sky.

"I've just been thinking a lot lately..I don't..want working with you to end..and..in a way.." He bit his lip, looking conflicted for a moment but pushed-

On anyways. "In a way I feel like you complete me..like I'm not..me without you.." He said, barely above a whisper. "If I'm being honest I can't...stand the thought..of not being by your side..fuck, does that make sense? God you've infected me with your rambling."

Izuku saw the pink on his face that appeared as he said that despite being under the night sky still was still so visible.

It was like he just shined underneath it.

Izuku gently took a hold of Katsuki's free hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"I feel the same way, Kacchan.." He whispered, chuckling quietly. "I've been thinking so much about leaving UA but through all of that its been you I've dreaded leaving.."

Katsuki's eyes widened and somehow got even brighter as he looked at him.

"You saved me..so many times.. You risked so much for me as I did you and I just...I was really hoping for this dream to be something we both wanted in the end.."

Izuku smiled softly, admiring him for a moment before pulling him into a gentle hug to which Katsuki returned.

"There's no going back on this, Kacchan." Izuku teased as Katsuki pulled him closer.

"Didn't plan on it, you're stuck with me nerd." He chuckled, ruffling his hair.

They stuck outside on the balcony and talked for awhile after that before Shouto came and got them-

For some cake with the rest of their class.

Izuku and Katsuki stayed near to one another, happily talking and playing games with the rest of their class for the rest of the night.

As the night quieted down they were laughing as they made their way back to their dorms.

Once they got to Izuku's dorm he sighed happily, looking up at Katsuki. "Well, this is my stop." He smiled softly.

Katsuki nodded before shyly looking away.

"What's up, Kacchan?" Izuku asked him, tilting his head.

Katsuki's face heat up as he blushed before-

Looking down at the ground, scratching the back of his neck.

"D-Do..do you want to..hangout? Over the weekend? We can go to that..dumb nerd shop you like." He grumbled, his face getting redder.

Izuku looked at him for a second before smiling, leaning up and kissing his cheek.

He giggled as he stepped back, opening his doors, turning to walk inside.

"It's a date." He looked back at him with a wink before heading into his dorm, closing the door behind him.

Katsuki stood there in shock as he raised his hand to the cheek Izuku kissed.

Yeah.

It was a date.
