Our team made some upgrades to the #Binance Proof of Reserves (PoR) verification system this week.

We’ve upgraded our PoR system with zk-SNARK, a zero-knowledge verification method aimed at keeping your sensitive information more private and secure.

@PolyhedraZK: "Breaking the security of modern zero-knowledge proof systems is not feasible within today's computational power."

As part of this upgrade, we’ve added four new tokens to the PoR system.

13 of the popular tokens are now supported, and you can verify your holdings in our custody.

🔸 In September 2022, Ethereum switched from a PoW to a PoS consensus mechanism.

🔸 Validators are now users staking $ETH, rather than miners solving computational puzzles.

2. So what is this upgrade?

🔸 Since the transition started in 2020, users haven't been able to remove their staked funds.

🔸 The Shanghai Upgrade is an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) that adds the withdrawal functionality.

How can you manage your risk?

There are several methods you can use to protect your investments, with some even suitable for beginners.

🧵 Here’s a thread on 5 risk management strategies you can adopt.

Strategy 1: Consider the 1% rule.

Don’t risk more than 1% of your total capital on an investment or trade.

For example, if you want to buy $10,000 worth of $BTC, set a stop-loss or stop-limit order to sell at $9,900.

Strategy 2: Set stop-loss & take-profit points.

These 2 order types automatically close your position when a preset price is hit, lower or higher than the price of the asset at the time.

Take profits, limit your losses and avoid making decisions in the heat of the moment.
