Fiona Bruce is shocked by the social media response, that's troubling for me that she didn't know trivialising DV would evoke such a dramatic response from the public. She hasn't even apologised publicly. @RefugeCharity

Making a statement yesterday doesn't undo the damage their statement did over the weekend defending Her.

I've thought about this for days, churning it over in my mind my anxiety returning, all the old feelings coming back, I've decided it needs to be said, I grew up in a house where Domestic Violence was an everyday occurrence, I still remember the feeling of the terror waiting

For the next incident to happen, being a child living in those circumstances changes you, you have physical pain deep in your stomach from pure fear, you feel scared all the time, your constantly on fight or flight but what's worse is freeze, when you are literally rooted to a

The use of language has always been important, a single word can have a completely meaning depending on how it's used, the language coming from government to dehumanize people is to distract us from the incompetence of this government,they're inciting

Violence such is their disregard for the law, they know it's unlikely this new plan is going to work, but don't you see that doesn't matter, their achieving stirring up racism, and fascism, that's their goal while people are busy hating the legal asylum seekers you aren't looking
