You have your ENS Domain, but what can you do with it?
I've done a lil' research & compiled this list of websites & tools that have been built specifically for .ETH names. I will continue to add to it as I find more.
ENJOY!:
🧵👇🏾
1a. - Simple & Free Website Builder
One of my personal favorites is onew3.eth.limo. It is still in it's early stages, but its a very easy-to-use, drag & drop website builder for ENS domains.
1b.
The best thing about @1W3io is that it auto uploads the sites you build to IPFS so you can insert the CID into your content records and your site is immediately live on your .ETH name.
<If you don't know what Im talking about check out this thread:
With the prebuilt templates they have available, you can easily build & deploy a website on your ENS domain in just a few minutes.
I setup this sample blog-page in less than 5 minutes using their "Design Blog" template:
1d.
The site is still in beta so you have to join their Discord to request an invite code, but it's really easy & the founder <@W3Hidayath> is very responsive & nice to work with.
Just lmk if you need any help getting a beta code

Another dope tool I found is ETH.co. This site propagates a Linktree style profile for you, based on the information you put in the content records of your ENS Domain. Complete with background images of your NFT holdings.
To get to your automatically generated profile by @ethdotco, simply put <your-ens-domain.eth.co> into your browser and you'll be brought to a page with all of your links, beautifully displayed on a Linktree style site.

3a. - ENS Specific Search Engine
Another really cool one is @e_steroids. A search engine that's built just for ENS Domains. You can find any website built on a .ETH name with it.
I searched "Amazon" on it and was lead to @johnpcorser, a software dev for Amazon who is into ENS.
3b.
They even have a "Hot Section" @ esteroids.eth.limo/#/hot where you can find popular ENS websites, as well as a few other categories.
I encourage you to go play around with it & see what you discover... Maybe I'll add your find to this list.
4a. - A Marketplace Just for ENS Domains
If you know about ENS then you probably already know about ens.vision because they go hand-in-hand. This was one of, if not the first ENS specific marketplaces.
4b.
You can easily find domains to buy & sell on the secondary market through their many different categories including #10kclub, #100kclub#hyphENS, #PokemonDAO, #ETHmoji, surnames & more.
But that isn't the only great thing about @ensvision.
They also have a ton of other great features like the ability to bulk list hundreds of domains at one time or allowing you to upload a CSV file to search & see the registration status of countless domains all at once.
Among all those is also the familiar "shopping cart" function that allows you to add multiple domains to your cart so you dont have to buy/register each one individually.
ENS Vision simply makes ENSing easier. If you didn't already know about it, go check it out RIGHT NOW!
Another simple, but cool feature is setAvatar.eth.limo. This site just has a simple UI that allows you to select an NFT from your wallet to set as your ENS avatar for use on dApps that are integrated with ENS PFPs.
The account highlights new & prominent accounts, businesses, & people who use ENS domains in an effort to welcome them with open arms to the ENS Community.
@ensvision@ethleaderboard@gregskril@welcomens_eth@mhiggins THAT'S IT! <for now>. I will continue to add to this list as I come across more tools & sites that are built specifically for ENS that I think are important for every ENS user to know about.
If there are any good ones that I missed, list them here in the comments!
I see a few VERY LUCKY individuals constantly defend the actions or lack thereof of @yugalabs simply because of what they received from them since minting.
Wasn't distribution of #BAYC less than 3k at mint?
So, what about the people who paid $300k for theirs 2 weeks ago?
🧵👇
What do they get aside from membership to your club & a promise that "something big is coming"?
What has @BoredApeYC actually built or developed aside from $APE?
A shitty game with beyond terrible mechanics?
Fancy marketing agreements w/ F500 corporations? (but I thought this space was all about grassroots growth & community empowerment 🤔)
Ok, I will admit they are very good at marketing and recirculating funds in order to create an illusion of progress, but please quantify the
Here are some of the big reasons #ensdomains have been getting so much attention!
For those who are wondering:
🧵👇
1a. - DNS
To really understand #ensdomain you first need to know their web2 counterpart: #dns, which means "domain name system". We take for granted what it does for us because we don't have to remember numbers like "142.250.188.238" in order to get to google.com.
1b.
But, without DNS, we would have to (sort of; there were other protocols developed as solutions before DNS, but DNS is what we have been using since 1983. The previous solutions were not very efficient, but I won't go into a tangent about them).
