If any of the Korean women who met him had Googled him, which given that it was a job interview they almost certainly would have, they would have come across a lot of "verification".

There are going to be so many movies and documentaries made about this guy. The extent of his methodical preying on the women shows that his social capital must have played a role in this.

TLDR - he specifically targeted young Korean women immigrating to Australia, of course looking for jobs. Offered to meet them. At Korean restaurants. Ordering Korean wine and all. Totally turning the charm on. And his online profile was all legit of course. BJP verified!

After these meetings, he would offer to drop them off, then say, just have to pick up car keys, take them to the apartment, roofie them. Then rape them when unconscious. And after they woke up, gaslight them that either nothing happened or it was consensual.

One particular woman's case is really hard to read. She went to his apartment. Passed out. Thought she just drank too much or something. Cops contacted years later. Said videos show he raped you 6 times that night when unconscious. She had no idea.

So yeah, read this story start to end and then try to blame #MeToo again for cramping your corporate social life, dudes.

No amount of due diligence could have saved these women other than treating every man as a potential rapist. 🤷🏽🤷🏽

This guy was standard bearer for the BJP in Australia.

And those dates 2018 are not a typo.

He was arrested and released, the last 5 years. And still fronting for the BJP.

Try to imagine, you're a young Korean immigrant in Australia looking for a job. Here's a Korean to English translator job. You Google the guy. Oh wow, very connected! You meet him outside. He's really into Korean food & music. So friendly. You drop your guard, think him "safe".

And then the guy roofies you AND still is into enough gaslighting to still want to drop you home. And he's done this with dozens of women. Only 5 were confirmed as rapes. One didn't even realize she had been raped, he roofied and gaslit her so much.

What utter evil!
