In 2020, Keir Starmer appointed Martin Forde QC, to investigate the leaked Labour report. The #FordeReport revealed an alarming hierarchy of racism within the party, yet Labour have shamefully chosen to ignore his significant findings.
2/
Despite commissioning one of Britain's leading Black QCs, his damning report was studiously swept under the carpet as Labour have been silent on this ever since.
The report also challenged the narrative of the BBC Panorama programme on Labour and antisemitism,...
3/
...which Forde described as "entirely misleading".
Karen Whightman, the editor of Panorama, and John Ware, who made the documentary, both wrote to Forde pressuring him to change his report.
4/
The tone of one particular email from Ware was more akin to a letter before legal action. Yet Ware has not taken any action, which speaks volumes of Forde's credibility. Especially as Ware is understood be very litigious usually.
5/
Al Jazeera's courageous decision to publish the Labour files is particularly noteworthy in light of all other [especially] the British media outlets stonewalling both Forde and his report.
6/
As a highly respected figure, it is concerning that the media would refuse to consider his words, instead opting to print the unverified claims of those with no proof. This deplorable situation is far from acceptable and speaks volumes about the current state of our press.
7/
The hierarchy of racism within Labour is totally indefensible and looking the other way is tantamount to enabling it and reinforcing the status quo.
We must not remain silent in the face of injustice - silence is violence!

Take a listen to the following clip, right at the end @bbcnickrobinson suggests the idea that those who suffer racism may be taking a position as a victim. 1/
Discussions with anyone right-leaning seem to always have them accuse PoC of playing victim.
This is just another way to shut down the debate around Britain’s involvement in the impoverishment of Black and Brown people historically, and how it continues to marginalise PoC.
2/
While it’s ok for us to remember British triumphs, Black and Brown people are continually told to forget Britain's past atrocities and move on, because one thing this country excels at is mass denial and anyone challenging this is said to be trying to change history.

"After a thorough independent investigation it was established that the deletion and destruction of documents date from a time period prior to the appointment of Lord Patel and relate to the allegations of racism and the club's response to those allegations.”

Unscrupulous legalities and racist political policy resulted in #ShamimaBegum losing the appeal to have her citizenship reinstated. The ultimate reason being that the ex-Home Secretary having declared her ‘a threat to national security’...
HOWEVER... 1/
It does seem to be the height of hypocrisy to declare Ms Begum a threat to national security when the UK and other Western countries have been fuelling the fire in, arming, and training Al-Qaida terrorists FOR YEARS.
