Delhi Court says that ED's request for extension of Sisodia's custody is justified as his physical custody is necessary for effective interrogation in light of fresh incriminating material found.
While extending his ED remand for 5 more days, the court notes that the agency needs to confront him with the fresh physical records and digital data received or expected to be received as well as the witnesses/persons.
Special Judge MK Nagpal further says that even though ED's remand application does not specifically say that Sisodia's is required for tracing out of proceeds of crime, but it cannot be ignored that the entire investigation is guided only to achieve that goal.
