After my discharge, my health insurance company tripled my monthly premium. & then they refused to pay for medication to help my lungs recover bc the medication was “too expensive.”
The system isn’t “broken.” It’s working for certain specific groups.

Massachusetts, btw. With its self-congratulatory “elite health care.” While I was in the hospital, a conman stole the entire contents of my home. I filed a complaint w/then-AG Maura Healey (now @MassGovernor). The conman told her office I was “crazy” so she dropped the case.
Democrats think they’re morally superior to the GOP. People in Blue states think they’re “safe” from lousy leadership.

Too bad we don’t have a 30+-year old federal civil rights law that protects disabled people from the kind of discrimination I experienced.
