The video shows an officer […] shooting and killing a man while being dragged by the vehicle at a high rate of speed.”

“The incident began as a traffic stop in the area of Kensington Avenue at Poultney Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. for an apparent speeding violation and tinted windows. During the stop, two officers say they observed a 6-year-old boy in the front passenger seat with no seat belt on.”
“The officers asked the driver for his ID and he allegedly said he didn't have his license with him but provided another form of ID.

One of the officers went back to the police vehicle to check the ID but was unable to come up with a valid driver's license.”

Bodycam video has been released by the Riverside Co. Sheriff from a fatal OIS on February 6th involving a suspect armed with a spiked bat. Deputies first deployed a taser, but it was ineffective.
