The Samudra Manthan embodies the journey of life undertaken by Jeevatma during its tenure on earth..
The Samudra Manthan, or the Churning of the Ocean, is a significant event in Hindu mythology that symbolizes the journey of life undertaken by Jeevatma during its tenure on earth.
According to Hindu scriptures, the Samudra Manthan was a joint venture between the gods and the demons to obtain Amrita, the nectar of immortality.

The process of churning the ocean required the gods and demons
to work together to create a giant snake, Vasuki, as the rope and a mountain, Mandara, as the churning rod. As the churning process began, the first thing that emerged from the ocean was a deadly poison called Halahala, which threatened to destroy everything.
Lord Shiva then stepped in and drank the poison to save the world, thereby symbolizing the importance of sacrifice and selflessness.

As the churning continued, many valuable treasures emerged from the ocean,
including the wish-fulfilling cow, Kamadhenu, the divine elephant, Airavata, and the celestial nymphs, Apsaras. Finally, Dhanvantari, the physician of the gods, emerged from the ocean holding the Amrita.
The Samudra Manthan symbolizes the challenges and obstacles that one encounters in the journey of life. It teaches us the importance of cooperation, sacrifice, and selflessness in overcoming these challenges.
It also emphasizes the importance of striving towards immortality, not just in a literal sense but also in a spiritual sense, by striving to attain self-realization and liberation from the cycle of birth and death.
Overall, the Samudra Manthan is a powerful allegory that offers important lessons on the nature of life and the path towards self-realization and spiritual evolution.

Image

1929- Letter Written by Bhagat Singh to District Magistrate For Allowing Daily Newspapers

In his letter, Bhagat Singh argued that access to daily newspapers was necessary for the prisoners to stay informed about the political and social developments outside
the jail and to keep up with their own legal cases. He also pointed out that denying them access to newspapers was a violation of their fundamental rights and freedoms.

Here is an excerpt from Bhagat Singh's letter:
"We have the right to know what is going on outside. We are not only political prisoners but ordinary ones also, and it is our right to read daily papers. We have nothing else to do here in jail except to read papers and books,

No forced conversion, Still Hinduism is spreading gradually in the world??

There is no evidence of large-scale forced conversions to Hinduism and the religion has been spreading gradually in various parts of the world...
There are several reasons for this.

Firstly, Hinduism has a rich spiritual and philosophical tradition that has attracted many people worldwide who seek spiritual knowledge and practices that are different from those offered by their own religions.
Secondly, with the growth of globalization and the increasing movement of people across borders, there has been greater exposure to different cultures and religions, including Hinduism.

Image

Image
