Whatever the visiting #G20 dignitaries may say in public, the Prime Minister's Office, Ministers and others in the Indian Govt must be under no illusion, about what they must be thinking in private about the regime that makes so much about #G20Presidency
This was most aptly put by @AndrewMMacLeod when he spoke frankly in the famous @TimesNow panel dicussion. Every G20 embassy in Chankyapuri must have sent a diplomatic cable back to their capitals and Chancelleries detailing events of the recent days.
Under the heading, "India Govt acting irrationally" they would have chronicled
- the withdrawal of security barriers at UK embassy in Delhi
- the convenient court verdict on Rahul Gandhi
- the news blackout of the 18-party protest in Delhi
- the continued coverage ONLY of 1 man.
The dossier would have chronicled the hysterical, desperate, irrational, juvenile reaction to the charge that democracy is in decline in India - a reaction that far from countering that allegation, actually re-inforces it.
For all the lofty statements of #Vishwaguru being the mother of democracy, these cables would have pointed out the bleeding obvious, that India is now ruled by a petty cabal of insecure, regressive men who exercise power without responsibility.
This insecure and unsure regime has substituted image for reality, presentation for performance, assertion for evidence, petty strategems for grand strategy, and a controlled and orchestrated media for an independent and free press.

National Car Parks Ltd, a private car parks ocompany ABSOLUTELY sucks. They operate car parks in towns, cities, airports, London Underground and National Rail stations. but as a service organisation they provide a shoddy service. Read on...
In terms of a digital presence, they are backward looking dinosaurs. They have had a twitter presence since 2011 but their twitter handle says Image
The website they refer you to is dire. Anyway the reason for my angst is simple. I parked today at one of their ANPR monitored ticketless car parks. You can pay only by their ParkPass App. On @GooglePlay ther app does not install on my 3 year old Galaxy A22 phone because... wait

This is juvenile behaviour, almost a childish attitude. In the case of the High Commission in London, @metpoliceuk have increased the police presence at their Strand building. Leaving the British High Commission exposed like this is not likely to mollify the Khalistani dissidents Image
@metpoliceuk I wouldn't be surprised if in the next few days we see a mob of the usual suspects marching on the British High Commission and/or the British Ambassador's residence in New Delhi. I am reminded of the organised Iranian protests outside US/UK embassies in Teheran in the 1980s.
Acc to the Guardian Newspaper, "The Met has launched an investigation. A spokesperson said: “Windows were broken at the high commission building. Two members of security staff sustained injuries. These are believed to be minor; they did not require hospital treatment."

The Charge: democracy is in decline in India. "The State stifles dissent, criminalises protest, and shuts down free speech".
The Response:
1. @ChetanAhimsa , a kannada actor is arrested on an FIR by a Bajrang Dal activist for his tweet on #Hindutva
2. Delhi Police arrest 100 for putting up posters that are critical of the Prime Minister. Image
3. Calls grow to act against MP @RahulGandhi including expulsion from Parliament. Image
