I agree @RBReich our @TexasChildrens patent-free Covid vaccine technology could be part of the solution. 100 million doses so far administered in low- and middle income countries, around $2-3 per dose. But so far no interest from US Govt to bring a Texas technology back to the US

1/2 I agree @jamie_love our @TexasChildrens vaccine center developed a Covid vaccine technology for $2-3 per dose, with 100 million doses administered so far in low- middle-income countries. We provided proof-of-concept you don’t have to be a multinational pharma to do big things
2/2 the problem is multifaceted but includes the aggressive lobbying from pharma with the so called “stringent” national regulatory authorities including FDA and EMA, G7 nations which tie a velvet rope around pharma, with the false belief that only they have the chops to do this
Even Bernie Sanders people, the anti GMO guys, the so called watch dog lobby are totally sucked in ways they don’t even realize or acknowledge. But in the meantime we’ll keep pushing the following message…

1/n We have detailed information now about the genetic/epigenetic ties to autism, including 100 different genes involved. This does not entirely exclude a role for environmental factors but we now have dozens of studies showing it’s not vaccine related.

3/n two additional points:

1. We expect autism rates to increase further as we get better understanding autism in girls and women who are often diagnosed with other things because they are verbal and other factors. We used to say 1 in 10, but it keeps getting closer to parity
