I have unfollowed most of the people I used to follow in #infosec and pretty much all of the musicians I used to follow, from Hall and Oates to Jamiroquai to Siouxsie and the Banshees.

I'm finally in a point in my life where I can afford overpriced concert tickets and some travel if it's something that's really a priority to me.

But fuck no. The musicians I genuinely used to love now will never see a dime out of me ever again...

I BitTorrent their music, because even Spotify and YouTube plays would give them a fraction of a cent each time.

My favourite musicians (musically, at least) aren't even starving artists. Have you seen Jay Kay's car collection?!

As for #infosec, I am never attending an in-person event ever again. You've shown your true colours, cybersecurity. Your understanding of security doesn't extend one millimetre beyond computers. Hacker Summer Camp is a mass biohazard and everyone running shit is complicit...

I even cut off all ties with my coauthor.

In fact, i will never think of 99% of people the same way ever again. If you're maskless in public in 2022, 2023 and beyond, fuck you all!

Inevitably, most of you will either die soon or deal with #LongCovid for the rest of your lives. COVID is a vascular disease. It damages brains, hearts, lungs, immune systems, pretty much everything else too.

If you had the fucking audacity to be in public maskless recently...

You will get absolutely zero sympathy, help, or support from me when you eventually realize that it was COVID that destroyed your body. FUCK YOU. My sympathy and support go to COVID-cautious long haulers only. NO forgiveness to you!

And it's already started... All of these A-list musicians who had zero financial need to go on tour, having destroyed their bodies for good.

No sympathy for them either, they maimed and killed thousands of fans in their path.

I was never a KISS fan. And they don't get a pass from me either. "Oh look, they're touring with anti-COVID nasal spray! Look how smart they are!" FUCK OFF!

I can accept sprays as a layer of mitigation. But a) they're not a substitute for respirators and clean air...

b) they're only protecting themselves. Meanwhile, they're subjecting hundreds of thousands of fans to mass biohazards.

And even if sprays help a bit, it's not going to work as a sole layer of mitigation, especially when playing to huge crowds.

We're going to hear about Gene Simmons with a "mystery illness" very soon.
