This may be an unpopular opinion among modern Christians. Still I ask of you to hear me out until the very end of this thread and not reject what I have to say in mid-sentence.

We are all here because we are truth-seekers - and isn’t this about pursuing the truth, no matter where it leads us, even if it means stumbling upon uncomfortable truths? Follow me down this particular rabbit hole, if you will.

Modern Christians have been hoodwinked. Ever heard about dispensationalism? From Wikipedia:

Dispensationalism is a theological system of interpreting the Bible that was first espoused by John Nelson Darby.

Dispensationalism maintains that history is divided into multiple ages or "dispensations" in which God acts with humanity in different ways.

Dispensationalists generally maintain beliefs in premillennialism, a future restoration of Israel, and a rapture that will happen before the second coming, generally seen as happening before the tribulation.

Okay, let’s unpack this. The short version is that ‘true Christians’ will disappear (rapture) from the earth. The Tribulation is a 7-year period which follows after that, in which the unbelievers will literally experience hell on earth, which will be ruled by Satan.

After this, Jesus will return to earth (Second Coming of Christ) and take those souls with him who have come to believe in him and the Father, so that they can be one with God.

There are other variations, such as Jesus appearing on a cloud before the Rapture and taking the believers with him, but this is the general idea.

So does the Bible actually teach this and, if so, where does it say this?

Enter Erik Reed, who caught hell for daring to suggest that this may very well be a blatant misinterpretation.

In 1830, John Nelson Darby was the first to preach the Rapture to his congregation, which happened to be the Plymouth Brethren and as such the notion of a Rapture made its way to what is now the USA.

In the late 1800s, C.I. Scofield popularized this idea in what became known as the Scofield Bible in 1909.

The Scofield Bible yielded the dominant Protestant interpretation of the Bible and it was based not on literal bible texts but footnotes, or ‘references’ as they are officially called.

You read that right, Scofield was basically saying: yeah, the Bible verse is this, but here’s what it actually says. So for 1800 years, Christians did not espouse the idea of a Rapture at all.

This is a fairly new notion which is 200 years old and did not appear officially in the Bible until 100 years ago, based on footnotes and not the actual text! Read Erik Reed’s article for further information, these are misinterpretations from Matthew and Thessalonians:

So what about the Tribulation? Well, that’s a misinterpretation of the book of Daniel, as you can read in this article:

Whether Christ will return or not is not for me to say, but if I haven’t lost you so far with these uncomfortable truths let me hit you with this: the notion of Christ dying for our sins is not in the Bible either.

These are all novel ideas which have become rooted into the psyche of modern Christians, all of which date back no more than 200 years. Read this article to back up what I’m saying:

Think back to what else has become part of the popular mindset in the last 200 years and particularly the last 100 years. Darwin’s Theory of Evolution comes to mind, which goes completely against Creationism.

With it came social Darwinism, eugenics and scientism, which tells us a purely mechanical universe was created by a Big Bang as a result of sheer coincidence.

We also have satanic pseudo religions and cults such as Scientology, Theosophy and New Age, the religion of the United Nations and their Lucis Trust:

Now who would benefit from popularizing such beliefs? Who would want you to either become a secular non-believer or lead believers away from the one true God of all creation?

Who have risen to dominance in the last 200 years and managed to indoctrinate entire generations though education, culture, politics and, yes, religion – even Christianity?

You guessed it, the same bloodlines that have held mankind hostage for eons and have caused the fall of many successful civilizations by creating division and hatred among people instead of unity and love.

So let’s summarize what modern Christians have come to believe as a result of [THEIR] hijacking of Christianity?
Jesus died on the cross for our sins, a BLOOD SACRIFICE.
The Rapture will come only for the ‘true believers’, not for all of mankind.

Those who get left behind will face hell on earth, i.e. be punished and enslaved for their sins.
Jesus will return and take only those who believe in him with him to the Father.

Notice a pattern here? Blood sacrifice, division, cruel punishment, enslavement. Did Jesus really preach these values?

Whether you believe in God and the Bible doesn’t matter, [THEY] do and [THEY] will do anything to lead you away from the true teachings of love and unity for all mankind, no soul left behind.

Have you ever wondered why [THEY] never patented life, as it is encoded in DNA, and why lifeforms can only be patented if they deviate by at least 10% from God’s blueprint?

I’ll tell you why: that blueprint is respected even by [THEM], it is very clear to [THEM] who is Boss and that [THEY] are but cheap imitations of the Most High.

In the same vein, [THEY] can’t touch the Holy Script, the Word of God being the source code of all creation. Thus [THEIR] deception lies in misinterpretations and mistranslations of the Bible.

Think the Scofield Bible and its footnotes and other forms of deception undertaken by [THEM].

What else is part of [THEIR] modus operandi? [THEY] want us complacent and passive and solely dependent on some kind of Savior, secular (government) or non-secular (God/Jesus).

Modern Christians have been taught by false prophets to sit on their asses and wait out the Rapture, Tribulation and Second Coming. Oh, and Jesus died for our sins, so we don’t even have to atone for our own sins.

Just pray real hard for Jesus to come and save us and unite us with God. And Satan laughed, because he got us right where he wanted us.

Instead, we need to be warriors of the Lord. Not all angels play the harp and sing.

I believe it is for this reason that Q reminds us that we are engaged in spiritual warfare by reciting Ephesians 6:12, which states that our enemy is not of flesh and blood and that we should wear the Armor of God, verses that are very often ignored at the pulpit.

No faith without action, no faith without personal responsibility.

I believe we are in the Days of Noah, only this time there will be an Arc of Consciousness, which will fit everyone.

Those who refuse to board the Arc will face trials and tribulations, not because God has ordained it but because God gave us the divine gift of free will - any suffering we may experience is of our own choosing.

Q writes 4-6% will be lost forever, they will drown in the Flood instead of surf on the waves of Spirit, like the rest of us. Mankind is given one last chance. Jesus didn’t die for our sins, he died because of our sins.

Hundreds, even thousands could have prevented his crucifixion, yet they stood by and watched him suffer and die at the hands of evil tyrants.

Jesus died so we could learn to take responsibility for our actions and return to Eden by being of service to God and to our fellows – in that order. For this, we need to humbly accept, surrender and forgive – in that order.
