Happening now: Far-left extremists have set up a Gaza "encampment 2.0" at @UCLA. (The last autonomous zone was disbanded following days of extreme violence.) Far-left extremist group @PplsCityCouncil, which is not made up of UCLA students, is playing a role in agitating for more outsiders to surge to the camp. Breaking: Hamas supporter and violent Portland Antifa member Alissa Eleanor Azar @AlissaAzar was arrested at the May 2 police response to the @Portland_State siege of the library and the riot on campus. (Photo below from another riot arrest in 2021.)

Most of those involved were not students. Many were part of the 2020 riots and some are confirmed Antifa members. The library is severely damaged inside as the far-left extremists smashed up the place and stole rare books. Outside, rioters assaulted police, journalists and the public.

Azar, who has an upcoming felony riot trial in Clackamas County, was quickly released without bail in Portland. She identifies as a journalist and has been repeatedly charged with violent felonies in Multnomah County in cases that are dropped by @DAMikeSchmidt.archive.is/ObfR3Image

Extremely violent Portland Antifa member and former fugitive Jarrid Bailey Huber, who has been repeatedly arrested at riots and was convicted of felony arson, was arrested again on May 2 while serving probation in a sweetheart deal by @DAMikeSchmidt.

2020 Portland Antifa serial riot arrestee Jared Michael Essig was arrested at the May 2, 2024 riot at @Portland_State after police raided the violent siege at the library.

Essig had previously stabbed his college instructor in the neck, but was found not guilty by reason of insanity. He was quickly released without bail yesterday. His 2020 cases were dropped by @DAMikeSchmidt or dismissed. archive.is/3Rlw3
