Imagine how US Police would react if their personnel were attacked like this? Yet, our Western 'allies' admonish us for 'oppressing minorities'!

Sub-inspector Rajveer Singh said, "We did not expect this. The villagers, who were taken by surprise, surrounded and attacked us, rescued the accused, and also robbed a constable of his government pistol." The UP Police later rescued the Haryana STF team and treated the injured.

ASP Shamli OP Singh said a case has been registered against 30-40 unknowns and 21 named accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapons), 332 (causing hurt to deter public servants from their duty), and 397 (robbery with

an attempt to cause death or grievous hurt). "Strict action will be taken against those who violate law and order. The police are currently trying to identify and arrest the attackers who are still absconding," the ASP added.

The incident occurred when the STF unit conducted a surprise raid to arrest a murder and Arms case accused, Mohammad Zabruddin, without informing the local police.

At least three personnel of the Haryana STF were injured and their service pistols looted after they were attacked by villagers in Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, officials said.

Six people have been arrested in connection with the incident, they added.
