Behind the sign above is a pellet plant.
Stacked in the yard are giant piles of trees including massive old trees, ready to be crushed into pellets.
The EU calls this renewable energy.
The sign said to take care of nature. This is not care, this is abuse.

These trees are not by-products, they are targeted to be logged to make pellets.
Without incentives, they would still be alive in a forest.
This is a scandal.

Look at this photo. This forest was logged for pellets.
The #biomass industry says they only use tops and branches of tress.
The opposite is true. The trunks are gone but the tree tops and small branches are left.
