Okay, so here's the thing about the #GunControl and #MentalHealth argument NOW coming from the hardline republican side that's coming out in the wake of the latest mass-shooting. Let me start with the points I can agree on with reasonable voices. Let's do this 🧵

1. Teachers should have the OPTION of arming themselves and training.

2. Schools should be able to facilitate time for teachers who wish to exercise said option.

3. Schools need to be posting signs (even if it's just one teacher) that the teachers are armed, trained and ready

to use deadly force, if presented.

I can agree that the, mistakenly-celebrated, gun-free zone is nothing but an advertisement for sitting ducks.

Here's where my Pro-Gun crowd is going to flip out and start going nuts but I'm going to say it and the only thing I'm asking is

that you think about this well before commenting. I'm probably not going to answer comments on this because everything I need to say is going to be said. You don't have to agree with everything, you don't have to like everything I say but it needs to be said, I've seen few

willing to say it so, fuck it, here goes, I'm joining the few and always shall. Okay here goes.

First, start really thinking about what you're asking for. Remember when the radical screechlords on the left were talking about mental health screenings for people to purchase a

weapon? Yeah, well when did YOU suddenly shift over? The next question I have is where do we draw the line? Third question, who's in control of said mental health system? Fourth question, where else are we going to require mental health screenings for a right, enshrined and

guaranteed by our Constitution as a restriction on government?

Do you see the problems yet? I hope you do.

Most of the transgendered people I've met really don't have an issue with who they are in terms of their presentation. Someone transitioning male to female and

vice versa are happy to live their lives as they are right now, they're grown adults (and that's the operative term) and they conduct themselves as such. Before you flip out, remember, the immediate response of the radical, screechlord left was to suddenly start blaming racism,

the NRA, and "white supremacy" as the motivating factor and they are still willing to paint every single one of us, you, me, everyone with that same broad stroke. They love using that as a shutdown tactic when they don't have facts. Guess what? Under those types, you're a white

supremacist and a Nazi for the mere act of owning a gun, much less more than one. Believe one thing, as many activists posing as practicing psychiatric "experts," that's the kind of thing you're gonna be on the business end of if you try purchasing a pistol, rifle or shotgun.

Now, keep that in mind. Do you want that? Look at everything YOU are currently being accused of right now and guess what? You don't even have to be white to be a white supremacist anymore! Lovely, right? Okay, now let's look at religion. Yeah, that's gonna be a big factor too.

Religious discrimination can easily be leveraged as well. Doesn't matter whether you're Catholic, Protestant, etc, hell, at this point, even Buddhism could be leveraged against the individual. Why would someone in a religion devoted to a peaceful path need a gun? Why, something

must be wrong with this person! If you think for a second that I'm being disingenuous here, you're blind and you haven't been paying attention. Stop reading this right now, go get some paper and a pen and literally write a list of everything you've been accused of being for

merely disagreeing with someone on the opposite end of your political spectrum. Do it now, then come back.

Okay. Now that you have that, think of how each of those items can be leveraged as a "mental illness."

seriously, Startpage parts of your personality and the things that you're being accused of with the current DSM and find out what "mental illnesses" you may have right now. Do your homework. Now. You're going to need it. These are things you need to be thinking about because

they're important.

The final thing you need to do is think of your initial reactions on this particular event. All the things you're suddenly okay with "X People shouldn't have guns" etc. Things like that. Don't defend them to me, I'm not going to be convinced. Examine. Them.

Did you see how easy it was to flip you to tyranny? It didn't take long for you to flip over to a leftist tactic. I'm not judging you for it. Hell it could happen to anyone. Happened to me a few times but that's why I took some time to properly respond to this event.

Honestly, this is horrible and shouldn't have ever happened. Personally, since this person was so into pronouns and I want to ensure their comfort, I'd like to know if they preferred Was/Were or Dead/Gone as their preferred pronouns but this person can't speak unless I were to

channel them and that's not something I want.

I want you to watch this video and really take in what @Raz0rfist has to say on the matter because it's important.

Now that we have all that, I wanna go ahead and wrap this up. I'm here speaking for myself and myself only. Not for gun owners, not for my friends who may be transgendered, black, white, hispanic, asian, etc. I'm here speaking on behalf of our Constitution and firmly questioning

even challenging those who claim they'd rather "dangerous liberty to over peaceful slavery." There needs to be a serious coming together over what types of mental conditions take someone and make them dangerous to themselves and others, that, to me, is reasonable but it needs to

be clear, specific and the goalposts cannot be ever-moving. If we can't agree on those terms then it's going to be whoever wants a gun should buy one, train with it, stock up on ammo (you're gonna need it for those practice sessions) and no such thing as "Gun Free Zones" ever

again for any reason. Yes, criminals, even the absolutely insane ones should fear for their lives when committing an act of violent crime. I've never once wavered on that philosophy. Making this world less dangerous and more profitable for criminals has allowed them enough room

to breathe while giving less and less of a fuck about YOU.

I also agree that books in the schools need to be age-appropriate. This is not an unreasonable ask, in fact, it's not a request in the least. If your child needs to read something a little more advanced from their age

then there's the public library and any bookstore online or whatever brick and mortar stores are left in existence, get them there, read them at home. I don't care what you read but I'm going to say this, if you're gonna scream about banned books and how no book should be banned,

believe me when I say, I can get you to flip on that position super-quick, believe that. In fact, many of you screaming and whining and pissing and moaning about books being banned decided to have @moordereht & @mrsmoordereht's books pulled from @DriveThruRPG because of content,

so spare me the sanctimonious bullshit. Also, radical leftist screechlord viewing this right now and "literally shaking" here's another bit of something to chew on.

Some of you are now defending the shooter, moving your twitter accounts spewing violent rhetoric to protected

tweets and gaslighting us like it's the 19th century, your arguments have absolutely zero credibility. You can pound your Gun Control Brady Bible all you want but you're not winning any fucking converts here. Put that in your bong and huff it. Get me? Good.

Now, I have to ask those who are pro-gun and pro-Constitution, do you suddenly want to lift the hands-off restraint on government that the Constitution provides or not? Because you can not have it both ways. At this point, even some of the more reasonable restrictions to which

we've agreed to in the past, I'm reconsidering even those. Far too long those very reasonable agreements have included legal "gotcha" clauses that have absolutely been leveraged in that inch we've given to take a mile.

Many transgendered, gay, lesbian and bisexual people simply

want to live their lives and enjoy all the same rights as enshrined by that Constitution. People of every religion, race, sexual orientation and class enjoy those protections from a government of, by and for the people and those protections MUST stay in place and we need to

start holding motherfuckers in office accountable each and every time they violate those restraints. In fact, if we're going to put any MORE restraints by law on anyone else, it's government as they've been more of a murderous problem than any one demographic in our country.
