I have some faith (for some reason) that the @elonmusk / @mtaibbi / @ShellenbergerMD farce doesn't have that much longer to run, but it's difficult to maintain. we inhabit a world in which @Jim_Bakker is still trying to defraud people—and he was discredited decades ago.

that's one unfortunate advantage to being as *corrupt* as Matt Taibbi, and having @mtaibbi's sort of secret friendships—he must feel invincible, untouchable, and that must feel _very_ good. nothing builds #confidence higher than plain simple cheating.
