while i dont particularly like dating discourse my advice to someone who finds himself in a situation like this is, this is one of those cases where you dont have to actually #believewomen
i think the winning tactic for him is to pretend to believe her. but do so extremely extremely badly and to her face

certainly i think that would be the most fun

has anyone written a good history of the rise and fall of irony poisoning
it feels like a stance first adopted deliberately by genxers who were betrayed by society at a young age and then unknowingly by millennials to whom nothing else ever bad ever happened
im serious about this because it feels under-considered while also perhaps somehow accounting for a lot of recent nonsense and i assumed there must be a canonical piece somewhere

todays worst tech interaction is between @Navan, @Delta, and @TSA

Navan books trips for work. Delta flies planes. TSA is a government-run theater group whose performance art involves inconveniencing people
somewhere between making a reservation with Navan and actually getting a ticket with Delta, my middle name was concatenated to my first name

support at Delta conveyed that this is a common and known issue

this tells us several things
first, it reveals that no one in the industry cares whether their shit works

second, it reveals once again that security is about theater

i am and will again today be flying under a garbage name that is not my, nor anyone's, govt name

no one will stop me and no one will care

there is nothing more racist in the literal sense of the word, as well as utterly deranged, than asserting that every person of a given race is responsible for every action taken by everyone else of the same race whether alive of dead and i wish people would fucking stop
