What are Dems actually doing? Doesn't matter. I will just pretend that they're silent and not doing anything for Twitter clout. The imaginary Dems are so disappointing, to me.
As an "Independent" who does NOT support Trump, shouldn't you at least pretend to want to see the indictment before declaring it a disaster?
I mean, if you were trying to keep up the tiniest degree of plausible deniability, that is.
When you have the reaction that every single Republican has (after being a central point of the Republican persecution narrative for the past x months), you just might be a Republican.
It really isn't that deep. DeSantis is an evil POS, surrounded by a bunch of evil POSs. He's done everything in his power to do hard right garbage with the goal of winning a GOP primary. He's been pretty much untouched b/c he's been kept in a hermetically sealed RW bubble.
It feels good to see him and his evil minions (like Christina Pushaw) eat shit.
Also, from a rational POV, Trump is probably the most beatable opponent for Biden to face...but mostly it's just b/c DeSantis deserves to have a big pile of crap smeared in his face.
It still remains hilarious that the self-appointed Arbiters of Media Accountability @ggreenwald and @mtaibbi are just completely ignoring this story, as if its not even happening. Literally the exact thing they claim to care deeply about (just the wrong network).
This was completely laughed off by literally everyone on arrival and then Tucker just never mentioned it again...so of course these two just repeat it as if it was a fact. CONFIRMED.
Doesn't matter if it's true, just lie and say it is: the Glenn Greenwald way.
Even his own colleagues didn't seem to buy it.
FWIW, the actual most likely 'story' was that Tucker was talking to some shady Russian dudes, attempting to set up a meeting with Putin (who he does NOT support) and his communications got swept up incidentally.
Nate Silver, after completely ignoring the Atlantic/NYT Racoon dog story, finally comments on it by saying the scientists behind are completely discredited based on....a minor TOS violation (publishing the data before the Chinese CDC, who were burying it). Just absolute crankery.
Nate takes public opinion polls as evidence he's right, but goes out of his way to 'discredit' any actual scientific evidence that contradicts his priors.
But he's just 'open minded'. He just wants to 'follow the facts' (which all the bad, close-minded Libs have prevented).
