PS. The scar over my rib area (where my surgeon extracted the rib cartilage for my facial surgery) has healed really well. You can't tell where it is unless you get close to the scar or touch it. The quality of my tattoo is still great! 😎✨

In the hegemonic society, we may still need to obtain "visibility" but I hope we can move onto Trans Day of Support where trans people (especially those who are further marginalized by other intersectional factors) can receive tangible support because that's what's really needed.
I believe that visibility is a starting point. While I don't have a massive platform, my online visibility has helped me reach a lot of people, organizations, and companies which led me to job offers and other opportunities.

It's been a month since I moved & I feel more comfortable sharing where I moved to (and I'd also like to get loca information).

I'm in Bangkok right now & I'll be living here for a while! 🇹🇭💗 ٩( ᐛ )و

Local people, please let me know cool places & shopping centers I can go to!
I have been so busy dealing with moving in, settling in, doing paperwork, having and recovering from surgery, and doing work from home, and all that so I have done barely any sightseeing (although I did go to some cool shopping centers and karaoke too)!
Anyway, if you know any cool places (cafes, restaurants, cosmetic stores, etc) please let me know! I will have this comment section open for the next few days. Thank you~~~ 💗

It's not just that this manga gets it.

The author of "She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat" (@thakaome_uzzaki ) has CONSISTENYLY stood up for LGBTQ+ rights in Japan publicly (which many authors avoid for the fear of social repurcussions from the cis heteronormative majority).
Not to mention that the author has also been a trustworthy ally of trans people.

From a tweet from 2020, the author wrote: "If 'feminisim' is to exclude trans women, then I would not want to call myself a feminist."

What Yuzaki and the team working on "She Loves to Cook,and She Loves to Eat" is an unprecedented queer activism from the aurthor in the face of a cisheterocentric environment that is systematically hostile to LGBTQ+ people.

~ Kitan's Surgery Journey # 13 ~

I had my stitches and face cast removed today! :D

I still can't wash my face for the next few days but my face feels so free right now!

Just been looking at my face in the mirror and being like, "MODERN MEDICAL PROGRESS FUCKING RULES!!!" ( ᐛ )
Wow, I am so happy of how the outcome came out so well and thankful I only had minimal complications so far 😊

I have to periodically check in with the surgeon for the next year to keep track of my progress and healing. (The doctor has complete healing takes 12 months.)
This healing period will give me plenty of time to physically, mentally, and financially prepare for the next surgery while I discuss how to go on about it with my surgeon. 😊

Just remembering my childhood when my mother would nag me about having "good manners" in public but internally I was like, "You threw a fucking chair at a girl when you were in Jr. High because she was talking behind your back, what are you even talking about."
My mom wanted me to have good manners in public because we're Japanese & a child's manners are seen as reflection of their family but my mom was an unhinged woman who did whatever so it felt unfair that I had to carry the responsibility of making her look good to the society.
Anyway, I knew the story about her chair-throwing incident because she had told me herself about it :|
