The Nazi's were obsessed with stealing the industrial power of Donbas. They didn't win. The Soviets flowed Russian laborers into the coal/heavy industry area attacting Mr Putin in 2014. Mr Potato Head is currently woodchipping Wagners on the region for the same reason.
