He’s also attached Albo for not “legislating” the voice and doing it via a referendum, implying they area lockstead heading for a No stance.

Leeser also spent a long time saying all the things he and his party have done for Indigenous people, trying to make out as though they are the real movers on Indigenous issues & that Labor is making it all about them.

Another negative, nasty & toxic Liberal speech.

Happy Monday all. A lot happening today including Julian Leeser at the NPC, who would also have thought he would go into this on a high after an Aston win, but instead will face scrutiny on this in addition to scrutiny regarding his obstructionist attitude on the Voice.

Archer has spoken and said the party needs to go back to the Centre, (Turnbull too) but she knows it can’t happen under Dutton so I imagine she is waiting for a better leader.

She’s thrown Campbell under the bus, but now is on the defensive.

Greggery asks about what she knew about legal issues with Robodebt in her time as DHS Secretary.
She says it never crossed her mind that the scheme could be illegal.🤨

Now thrown Musolino under the bus, saying once she finally became aware of legal complaints, she referred this to her.

They didn’t go any further for now, but if she’s leading to eventually say she was assured its legal & accepted it, without checking, & as Secretary…right.

#RobodebtRC Tudge’s former COS Andrew Asten insists that even though hearings commenced months ago, he had absolutely no idea he could ask for records from the Commonwealth, nor that he could be represented by a lawyer.

Seriously, how could he not know that. If he’s not lying which I suspect he is, then he is an absolutely dipshit, no?

And being a Partner, he obviously is well aware of legal stuff.

Might I suggest he didn’t obtain legal representation to be able to more easily justify why he didn’t know you could ask records from the commonwealth?

It’s supposed to be a pretty senior position.

I wonder if his new firm has concerns about their Partner, or if it’s business as usual at BCG.
