So i've seen snippets of the Lewis Goodall show on LBC doing the rounds over the past 48 hours, where he was discussing the CPTPP and not being particularly complimentary I think it is fair to say.

Well I listened to the first 30 minutes and took notes, and here are my thoughts.
Generally speaking I think the question he posed to his audience was something of a straw man - setting up the notion that the CPTPP is meant to replace the EU, then asking his listeners if they agreed (which they didn't). When the CPTPP accession is not about replacing the EU.
I made notes of all that he said on the matter in the first 30 diatribe, and I took out a couple of quotes. But one thing I did find interesting - he said "i'm just giving you the objective facts". So i'll try to hold him to that.

Here are a few quotes then from the show.

TANGIBLE BREXIT BENEFITS: ONE YEAR LATER

About a year ago, I was asked to provide 10 "Tangible Benefits" of leaving the EU. So over the course of a lunchbreak I wrote a list of 10 and sent it over.

Since then it has been shared thousands of time, and even made the press.

1/?
Over the year, as more benefits came to fruition, I have done the research - and those where I was able to confidently demonstrate and verify a true Brexit benefit as existing, I added to the list.

Today I added the 20th item onto the list. Double the original challenge.

2/?
So to celebrate the task having been delivered twice over, and to reflect that time has passed and some items in the list needed updating as to current status, I have decided to rewrite the full 20 items in a new post - so please, sit back and enjoy.
