Thinking about O!Dk being fated to the alpha chieftess’ alpha son, Katsuki. If Deku were any other omega, he'd be ecstatic. Overjoyed at the prospect of belonging to such a fine, strong alpha man.

But as the village's outcast, he couldn't let him know.
So he keeps his distance.

It should be easy—to watch him from afar—but as Katsuki’s 18th name day approaches, Izuku feels his well-kept secret ticking like a time bomb.

“No way! Katsuki is here!”
Izuku's head snapped upwards, pausing his current task—tending food and drink to the huntsmen of his tribe.

His heart skipping a beat as he caught sight of the alpha. He stood tall and confident, his fiery personality evident in the way he carried himself.
Izuku couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy as he watched Katsuki talk and laugh with his friends. He wished he could be the one making him smile like that.

As if sensing his gaze, Katsuki turned to look in Izuku's direction.
Their eyes met, and Izuku's heart raced even faster. He quickly averted his gaze, feeling flustered and embarrassed.
/Shit/

He should probably leave lest Katsuki discover his secret. He couldn’t let him know. Not when he was just a lowly omega—an outcast—and Katsuki was the alpha son of a chief.

Izuku took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He knew he had to focus on his duties…
But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake off the feeling that only surfaced when it came to Katsuki.

“He’s so handsome…” A serving girl sighed dreamily.
Izuku chanced a glance at the alpha, and gulped.

Katsuki's tribal attire was a sight to behold. The intricate patterns and vibrant red colors of his outfit accentuated his muscular build, making him look even more imposing and powerful than he already was.
As he walked into the room, Izuku couldn't help but feel his heart race with anticipation. He tried to keep his gaze focused on his work, but his eyes kept wandering back to Katsuki.
The alpha's presence was commanding, and Izuku felt a shiver run down his spine as Katsuki's eyes landed on him. He felt exposed under the alpha's intense gaze, and his cheeks flushed with heat.
Izuku tried to steady his breathing and focus on his duties, but it was difficult with Katsuki's presence looming over him.

The alpha seemed to have a magnetic pull on him, and Izuku couldn't resist the urge to steal a glance at him every chance he got.
He knew it was foolish to harbor feelings for someone like Katsuki, but he couldn't help the way he felt. All he could do was admire Katsuki from afar.

Izuku tried to focus on his work, but his attention was drawn to Katsuki's deep, alphan voice.
He couldn't help but overhear snippets of their conversation as he flitted about the canteen.

"So, are you excited for your name day?" The redheaded alpha accompanying Katsuki asked with a teasing glint in his ruby-colored eyes, bringing his wooden cup to his half-quirked lips.
Katsuki snorted. "Excited? It's just another day. Besides, I'll be expected to make a formal announcement about my mate.” Katsuki grimaces. “The hag has been annoyingly insistent on the matter."
Izuku's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Katsuki's mate. He tried to suppress the feeling of jealousy that crept up inside him.

"Any contenders?" The redhead asked, a mischievous glint in his eye.

Katsuki rolled his eyes. "Don't be ridiculous, Kiri…”
“…I haven't found anyone worthy of being my mate yet."

Izuku felt a pang of disappointment at Katsuki's words. He knew it was foolish to hope for something that was impossible, but he couldn't help the feeling of longing that filled his heart.
He tried to push the thought out of his mind, but his thoughts kept drifting back to Katsuki's upcoming name day and the formal announcement of his mate.
Izuku couldn't help but feel a sense of dread at the thought of Katsuki choosing someone else as his mate. He had always known that as the village’s outcast, his chances of being with the alpha were slim to none, but the idea still hurt.
“Oi, you there, more bread!”

Izuku flushed, scrambling for his tray to serve the huntsman his bread. As he placed the food on the table, his ears perked up as Katsuki continued speaking to the other alpha.
"I just wish I could find someone who challenges me," Katsuki said, his voice tinged with frustration. "Someone who isn't just after my status or my family's wealth."

Izuku couldn't help but feel a flicker of emotions at Katsuki's words.
Maybe he should confess. They were fated after all, but he quickly pushed the thought aside, knowing that it was foolish to think that Katsuki would ever consider him as a potential mate.

He tried to shake off the feeling of dejection that settled in his chest.
But the words he had overheard continued to echo in his mind, filling him with a sense of longing and regret.
Izuku continued to work, but as he passed by the table where Katsuki and Kirishima sat, he couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness.

Kirishima motioned for him to come over, and Izuku hesitated for a moment before making his way to the table.
“H-How may I serve you?” Izuku stuttered.

“Could you pour us a drink?” Kirishima asked, eyes crinkling and an easy going smile on his face.

Izuku nodded mutely. He tried to keep his gaze down as he poured the drinks, not wanting to meet Katsuki's intense stare.
But when he finally looked up, he was met with a sight that took his breath away. Katsuki was looking at him with a look of enrapturement, his eyes lingering on Izuku's features as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Izuku tried to steady his breathing, feeling his cheeks flush with heat at the attention. He knew he wasn't conventionally attractive like the other omegas in the tribe, but Katsuki's gaze made him feel beautiful in a way he had never felt before.
He quickly finished pouring the drinks and retreated back to his work, feeling a sense of disbelief at what had just happened.

Could it be…?

Could it be possible that he had a chance? Or was he just imagining things?

As Izuku retreated back to his work, Kirishima noticed a sudden change in Katsuki's demeanor. He was staring off into the distance, lost in thought, and Kirishima followed his line of sight.
He wasn’t surprised to find the cute, green-haired omega at the end of it.

"Is something on your mind, Katsuki?" Kirishima asked, a teasing note in his voice.

Katsuki scowled, his eyes flickering back to Kiri and narrowing at the way the redhead alpha simply grinned in return.
"No, nothing's wrong," he grumbled. “I just...I don't know. That omega... There's something about him."

Kirishima raised an eyebrow, a sly smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Oh, really? Do tell me more, Mister-I-want-a-challenge."
Katsuki bristled at the comment, his cheeks turning a faint shade of pink.

"It's just... There's something about him that I can't quite put my finger on."

Kiri chuckled, placing a hand on Katsuki's shoulder. "Relax, brother. There's no shame in being attracted to an omega...“
Kiri’s voice trailed off, his gaze focusing on the omega. He couldn't deny the fact that even he was attracted to a beauty like him. The omega had a captivating grace and poise that drew him in.

His wide, expressive green eyes held a depth that Kirishima had never seen before.
His cheeks were dusted with a light smattering of freckles, and his jawline was sharp and defined. His stocky frame was accentuated by the way his clothes hung off of him, highlighting the subtle curves of his hips and the graceful line of his neck.
Physically, he was unlike any omega he’d ever seen. No wonder Katsuki was intrigued.

"…Especially one as beautiful as him. Who knows? Maybe he's your fated mate," he teased.
"I don't believe in fated mates," Katsuki grumbled, trying to brush off Kirishima's goading.

Kirishima quirked a brow, smile turning wry. He shook his head and just chuckled. "That's what they all say, until they meet their omega and everything changes.”
“Yeah, right,” Katsuki muttered in annoyance, “I’m not going to be forced into a mateship. Not by my mother or by fate.”

“Whatever you say,” Kirishima shrugged, taking a sip from his cup of ale.
“Although,” Kirishima spoke after setting his empty cup down, “You can't deny that there's something special about that omega. Maybe it's worth looking into."

Katsuki couldn't shake the feeling that there might be some truth to the idea.
He had always been skeptical of the concept of fated mates, but the more he thought about it, the more he couldn't deny the pull that he felt towards the green-haired beauty.

Katsuki fell silent, lost in thought.
Kirishima noted the change in Katsuki's tone and demeanor, and he knew that the topic of fated mates was something that was weighing heavily on his mind.

"I'm not saying that you have to believe in it," Kirishima said, placing a comforting hand on Katsuki's shoulder.
"But sometimes, the heart knows what it wants, even if the mind doesn't want to admit it."

Katsuki sighed, his thoughts in turmoil.
As Katsuki remained pensive, Kirishima noticed that the omega was making his rounds once more. He quickly called out to him, asking him to come back and join them at their table.

"Hey! Come over and join us. We could use some company," Kirishima said with a friendly smile.
The omega startled, looking around before pointing to himself. Kirishima nodded with a cheerful smile, waving him down eagerly.

The green-haired omega hesitated for a moment before making his way back to the table, his movements uncertain and guarded.
“What’s your name?” Kirishima asked. Izuku swallowed, settling beside Katsuki, and fidgeted nervously.

“I-Izuku,” he replied, hypersensitive of the body heat radiating off of Katsuki.
“Izuku,” Kiri murmured, the omega’s name rolling off his tongue curiously, “It’s nice to meet you. I’m Kirishima, and this is—“

“Katsuki,” Izuku said, causing the redheaded alpha to pause in surprise.
Izuku’s face turned a bright red as he quickly realized he had interrupted the alpha.

“Yes,” Kirishima affirmed in amusement, glancing at Katsuki who was besotted by the pretty omega.
Kirishima tried to make small talk with him, asking him about his life in the village and what he liked to do in his free time.

To the alpha’s shock, they discovered Izuku was older than them by a few years.
It was unheard of for an omega to go unmated for long after their eighteenth name day. That seemed to drag the mood down.

Kirishima sensed the tension in the air, but he refused to give up.
"You know, Izuku, Katsuki and I were just talking about fated mates. Do you believe in that kind of thing?"

Izuku looked up, his eyes widening in surprise. "Fated mates?"

Kirishima nodded.
"Yeah, you know, the idea that there's someone out there who's destined to be with you. Do you think that's real?"

Izuku's expression was anxious yet it softened a little, and he seemed to relax slightly. "I don't know," he said, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips.
"I guess it's a nice idea… if such a thing existed."

Katsuki watched the exchange between Kirishima and Izuku with a mix of curiosity and concern. He couldn't help but wonder what was going on behind those vivid green eyes.
"I've always thought that the idea of fated mates was kind of romantic," Kirishima said, a wistful tone in his voice. "To think that there's someone out there who's meant to be with you, someone who completes you in every way...it's a beautiful thing, don't you think?"
Izuku nodded, a small smile on his lips. "I can see why people would believe in it. It's a nice thought, to think that there's someone out there who's perfect for you."

Katsuki couldn't help but feel a sense of longing as he listened to their conversation.
He had always thought that finding his fated mate was just a fairy tale, something that happened to other people, but he couldn't deny the pull that he felt towards Izuku.

It’s been a week since Katsuki and Kirishima had drank with the green-haired omega, and Katsuki couldn’t for the life of him stop thinking about Izuku.
He couldn't help but think about the way Izuku's freckles dotted his cheeks like a constellation of stars in the night sky. Or the way his dark, green curly hair fell messily over his forehead.

He especially couldn’t stop thinking about the idea of fated mates.
Could it be possible for such a thing to exist?

Is there really someone out there who is meant just for him?

Katsuki shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts.
"Ah there you are, you damn brat," his mother shouted at him, snapping him out of his reverie. "I’ve been looking all over for you!”

Katsuki sighed, rolling his eyes. He could only imagine why she would be looking for him.
"What is it?" he asked, trying, and failing, to hide his annoyance.
“If it’s about the stupid flower arrangement for my name day, I’ve already told you I don’t care as long as they don’t have an overpowering stench.”

“No, it’s not about that,” she said, waving his comment off.
“I have something important to discuss with you.”

“Is that so?” Katsuki mumbled, plopping down onto one of the fur covered couches. He spread his legs as he peered up lazily at his mother. He took great joy in the irritation simmering in her eyes.
She cleared her throat, crossing her arms across her chest and said,
"I have been speaking with the chief of the neighboring tribe.”

“I thought you said this was something important,” Katsuki grumbled, resting his arms on his knees as he clasped his hands.
“Talking to other tribes isn’t anything new.”

“Yes, well, this particular conversation was important,” Mitsuki replied. She paused for a moment, taking a deep breath as if preparing for his reaction.

“They have an omega,” Mitsuki started.
“No shit,” Katsuki snorted. Mitsuki continued, undeterred by his comment.

“An omega who would be a suitable mate for you.”

Any warmth in the room was snuffed out, leaving a frigid coldness in its wake. Katsuki frowned.
He had no interest in finding a mate, let alone one from another tribe.

“Her name is Ochako,” Mitsuki said. Katsuki grit his teeth, clenching his hands into fists. “She is a kind, gentle soul—“

"I'm not interested.”
"Katsuki, having a mate is important for your role as an alpha. And Ochako is a wonderful omega. She would make a great partner for you," his mother insisted.

Katsuki shook his head, his mind thinking back to Izuku.
"I‘ve already told you. I'm not interested in finding a mate right now."

His mother sighed, looking disappointed. "You know your responsibilities as an alpha of this tribe. Your eighteenth name day is upon us any day now, and it's important that you find a mate soon."
“Ochako is a sweet girl,” she continued, unaware of the ticking time bomb that is Katsuki’s anger, “She and her family will be here for your name day celebration. If you spend some time with her, then perhaps you can court her—“

Like the end of a fuse, he had finally had enough.
"I don't want to court Ochako!" he shouted at her, his voice echoing through the large room. He stood to his full height, towering over his mother as he bared his teeth at her.

His mother's expression turned icy.
“You insolent brat.”

Katsuki sneered, standing still as Mitsuki pressed a sharp fingernail into his chest.

"You will court her because she is a suitable mate and the daughter of a respected family," she said firmly.

Katsuki clenched his fists, trying to control his anger.
"I don't care about her family or her status. I want to find someone I actually want to be with, not just someone you think is suitable," he retorted.

His mother's lips thinned into a disapproving line. "You are the alpha son of the chieftess, MY son, Katsuki…”
“You have a responsibility to continue our bloodline and ensure the prosperity of our tribe," she said sternly.

Katsuki knew she had a point, but he couldn't help feeling resentful. He didn't want to be stuck with someone he didn't love for the rest of his life.
"I'll find my own mate, one way or another," he said defiantly, his eyes blazing with fury. "My duty is to myself and to my own happiness, not to some arbitrary tradition.”

Katsuki didn’t wait for his mother’s response. He brushed past her, marching out of the room.
As he walked down the path leading to the gates of the marketplace, he couldn’t help but think a nice brew of ale would certainly help lighten his mood.

Flashes of emerald green eyes and a shy smile darted through his mind.

Katsuki smirked. He knew just the place.

Izuku was in the middle of wiping down the counter, lost in his thoughts, thinking about a certain young, blond alpha, the bustling and chatter of patrons buzzing in the background.
When suddenly, he was interrupted by a rude patron who slammed his empty glass on the counter. "Hey, Omega! Where's my refill?" he barked angrily, spittle spewing from his glistening lips.
He took a deep breath, fighting a grimace at the stench of alcohol wafting from the man’s breath. He forced himself to remain calm, knowing that he couldn't let his emotions get the best of him, remembering clearly what happened the last time he let his mouth get the best of him.
"I'll get you a refill right away, sir," he said, his voice steady and stiff. The man merely grunted, eyes hazy and glossy, foggy with drink.

As he poured the man another drink, his mind drifted back to Katsuki.
He longed to be with him, truly he did, but he knew that it was impossible. Alphas like Katsuki were meant to be with beautiful, regal omegas.

Not omegas like him.

Just then, he caught sight of Katsuki walking towards him, and his heart skipped a beat.
He had to remind himself to remain composed and not let his feelings show.

"Hey," Katsuki said, sauntering over with a gallant smirk plastered on his face. He took a seat at the counter, resting his strong, veiny arms on the wooden bar. "How's your shift going?"
Izuku forced himself to focus on his work, trying not to let Katsuki's close proximity affect him. "It's going fine, thank you for asking," he replied politely, hoping his voice was firm and not trembling like his beating heart.
Katsuki chuckled, the sound sending shivers down Izuku’s spine. "That’s good.” He paused, predatory red eyes skimming him from head to toe before settling his gaze on Izuku’s face. Izuku was sure his body heating up wasn’t due to the humidity.
Katsuki leaned against his hand, resting his chin in his large palm, and his fingertips grazing his lips. Izuku held his breath, tracing each movement like a hawk.

“I hope no one has been giving you a hard time,” Katsuki murmured, “If they do, you let me know."
He winked at him, a feral smile donning his lips. His teeth flashing dangerously in the dim light.

Izuku's heart skipped another beat at Katsuki's words. Did he really mean that? Or was he just being friendly? He couldn't tell, and it was driving him crazy.
As Katsuki ordered his usual drink, Izuku tried to calm his racing thoughts. This was dangerous. He knew he couldn't let his feelings for Katsuki show.

But as he watched the alpha take a sip of his drink, all he could think about was how much he wanted to be with him.
“Man, that’s some good fucking ale,” Katsuki groaned pleasantly, smacking his lips. Izuku chuckled, quickly hiding the sound behind a cough, but it was too late.

Katsuki raised a brow, amused by the omega’s reaction.
“So, uhm,” Izuku started, fiddling with a washcloth, “your name day is coming up isn’t it. I heard it’ll be the biggest celebration this village will ever see.”

Katsuki let out a sigh. "Yeah, and I'm not looking forward to it," he said indignantly.
"Why not?" Izuku asked, brows pinched in confusion and concern. He could feel his omega whine at the sight of Katsuki’s irritable expression.

/Alpha is unhappy. Omega make him feel better./

"Because my hag…” Katsuki spat,
“…of a mother has done me a great honor of arranging something with another omega," Katsuki said sarcastically, slamming his cup down onto the counter, “Think her name is Ochako or something.”

The blonde alpha sneered, unaware of the heartbroken expression on Izuku’s face.
"She wants me to mate with her,” he finished, his tone bitter.

"I'm… I’m sorry," Izuku said softly, a pang of sorrow coursing through his blood.

Katsuki shrugged. "It's not your fault," he said. "It's just the way things are."
Izuku nodded, not trusting his voice.

"But I don't want to mate with Ochako," Katsuki continued. "I want...I want someone who understands me, someone who I can connect with on a deeper level."

Katsuki leaned forward, eyes flickering upwards to Izuku’s wide, viridian stare.
Izuku felt his heart skip a beat. Was Katsuki talking about him? No… He couldn't let himself get his hopes up.

"I know how you feel," Izuku said softly. "I want that too."

Katsuki looked at him, his gaze intense. "Do you, Izuku?" he asked, his voice low.
Izuku felt his cheeks heat up. "Y-yeah," he stammered.

Katsuki's expression softened, reaching out and taking Izuku's hand.

"Then... you wouldn’t mind if I ask you something?"

Izuku squeezed Katsuki's hand. "Of course," he said, his heart pounding thunderously inside his chest
"W-What is it?"

"Will you to pretend to be my mate?" Katsuki asked.

Izuku felt like he had been punched in the gut.

Pretend to be his mate?

Was this some kind of cruel joke?

"W-why?" Izuku asked, trying to keep his voice steady.
"Because if I don't mate with Ochako, my mother will force me to mate with someone else," Katsuki explained. "And I can't do that. I won’t be forced into a mating that I don't want."

Izuku felt his heart sink with each passing word.
"But...but why me?" Izuku asked, looking anywhere but at Katsuki. His omega howled in agony, taking this as rejection. "Why not someone else?"

"Because I trust you, Izuku," Katsuki said. "I know that you won't take advantage of the situation. And because...”
“…because I feel like I can be myself around you."

Izuku felt his heart flutter at Katsuki's words. But he knew that this was just the beginning of a charade. Katsuki seemed to sense his hesitation and hurriedly added,
“It’ll only be until my name day. Then you’ll be free to do as you please—“

"Okay," Izuku said softly. "I'll do it."
Katsuki’s mouth parted in surprise before he graced him with a handsome smile at him, and for a moment, Izuku felt like everything would be okay. But deep down, he knew that his heart was already broken.

Katsuki's face softened, and a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "Thank you, Izuku. I owe you one."

Izuku nodded, his heart heavy with the weight of what he had just agreed to
He knew that this would be a difficult task, but he couldn't say no to Katsuki. Izuku felt like the weight of the world were on his shoulders.

How was he supposed to pretend to be Katsuki's mate for weeks?
How was he supposed to act like he was in love with someone who didn't feel the same way?

Izuku felt a pang in his chest. He wanted to tell him that he would do anything for him.
That he would gladly pretend to be his mate for the rest of his life if it meant that he could be with him.

But he couldn't.

He had to keep his feelings hidden.

"It's no problem," he said, forcing a smile. "I'll do whatever it takes to help you…”
"So,” Izuku spoke unsurely, 𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘺, as green eyes flickered from his twiddling thumbs to Katsuki’s lazy smirk. “How do we do this? Do we just start acting like we're a c-couple?”
Katsuki was briefly distracted by the way Izuku’s freckled cheeks flushed a cute pink. The flames from the torches perched onto the cantina’s walls casted shadows on Izuku’s skin, dancing along tan, scarred flesh.

"Yeah, we'll have to start slow,” Katsuki said absentmindedly.
“We can’t make it too obvious, especially in front of my mother. She can smell bullshit a mile away. We have to be subtle. Give each other nicknames,” Katsuki murmured, gaze turning soft and heady, “and when we’re out in public…” Katsuki exhaled as he leaned forward
The space between them shortening and becoming intimate. Izuku could feel Katsuki's breath on his cheek, and he couldn't help but tip in closer, emerald green eyes heavy-lidded, drawn to the heat and intensity that surrounded Katsuki.
For a moment, they remained there, the world washing away until it was just the two of them, caught in each other's gaze, the tension between them almost palpable.

“…we can hold hands, cuddle, and maybe even kiss a little….”
Izuku felt his face flush at the thought of kissing Katsuki in public. He had dreamed about it for so long, but he never thought that it would actually happen.
Katsuki's fingers inched forward, sliding along the wooden bar until they found their way to Izuku's hand, his fingers tracing small circles on his skin.

Izuku felt his heart rate pick up as he shifted in his seat, trying to hide the effect that Katsuki was having on him.
He wanted to savor this moment, to hold onto it for as long as he could. But all too soon, Katsuki released his hand and somberly said, “…But we have to be careful.”
As he retreated, any traces of warmth was whisked away, the spell that had been cast between them effectively broken and leaving in its wake remnants of a brief dream.

“People will be watching us, my mother in particular, so we can’t fuck this up."
Clenching his fists until he could feel the crescents of his nails bite into his palms, Izuku resolved to keep his oath to himself and to Katsuki.

Whichever the outcome of their secret arrangement came to be, Izuku will aid his beloved and take their fated mateship to his grave.
Izuku nodded, feeling a wave of disappointment wash over him. “I'll do my best to act like your mate… Kat—𝘒𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯?”

Katsuki blinked. Lips quirking as he chuckled lowly, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Heh.”
Katsuki brought the wooden cup to his mouth, the rim grazing his lips. “This is gonna be easy as hell. We'll make them believe that we're head over heels in love."
Izuku couldn't help but smile at Katsuki's confidence. He knew that it wouldn't be easy, not for him anyway, but he was willing to do anything to help Katsuki. To help the boy—𝘮𝘢𝘯— he loved.

As he finished his drink, Katsuki stood up and held out his hand.
"Let's go, 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦. We have a lot of acting to do."

Izuku took Katsuki's hand, feeling a jolt of electricity run through him. The green-haired omega swallowed, feeling a lump form in his throat.
He wanted to say something, anything to express the emotions that were swirling inside of him, but he couldn't find the words.

His heart heavy with the weight of his own unrequited feelings.
He knew that he was putting himself in a vulnerable position, and that the consequences could be disastrous. But he also couldn't deny the fact that a part of him was hopeful, that maybe…

Just maybe…

This charade would turn into something real.

——
He followed Katsuki out of the cantina and into the warm evening air.

As they walked through the streets of their tribe, Izuku couldn't help but feel like he was living in a dream. He was walking arm in arm with the person he loved, but it wasn't 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭.
It was all just a facade, a desperate attempt to keep Katsuki from being forced into a mating he didn't want.

But as they approached Izuku’s home, the green-haired omega realized that this was only the beginning.

The hard part was still to come.
He had to convince everyone, including his mother, that he was in love with Katsuki, that they were meant to be together.

And he had to do it without letting his true feelings show.

He didn't know how he was going to pull this off, but he knew that he had to try.

For Katsuki.

As they walked through the quiet streets, the warm evening air wrapped around them like a comfortable blanket, Izuku couldn't help but feel the weight of Katsuki's gaze on him.
He shifted nervously, fiddling with the hem of his tunic, his heart racing in his chest. He often wondered what it would feel like to capture the attention of such a powerful, handsome alpha. To have those intense, ruby-colored eyes look his way—filled with affection & desire.
To Izuku, it was a wonderful dream. One he had frequently in his most private and intimate moments. Now, his dream has become reality. He wished he had the foresight to truly understand how nerve wracking yet exciting it would be.
"So, what do you usually do for fun around here?" Katsuki asked, trying to make conversation. His deep, growls voice sent shivers down Izuku’s spine. Izuku hoped his scent didn’t give away how affected he was.
Izuku shrugged, attempting to be nonchalant. "Not much, really. I mostly just spend my time training and keeping to myself."

Katsuki raised an eyebrow. "Training? For what?"

Izuku hesitated for a moment, chewing on his lip, before answering, "I...I want to be a Hunter."
Katsuki’s expression turned from curious to shock before his lips cracked into a smile. The alpha couldn't help but laugh. "A Hunter? What could you possibly do?"

Izuku's face fell, hurt painting his freckled features before he looked away, hands balling up into fists.

Shit.
Katsuki immediately regretted his words. "I-I'm sorry," he said quickly, feeling like an absolute ass, "I didn't mean it like that. I just don't understand why you would want to be a Hunter when most omegas I know would rather be pampered Gatherers."
Izuku looked down at the ground, voice soft with dejection, "I know it sounds silly, but... at this point in my life I had envisioned myself with a nice mate and maybe some pups, and tending to their needs like a normal omega…”
Izuku inhaled shakily, eyes growing misty as years of rejection and failure settled deep in his gut, “Perhaps in another life, I would have been happy with that kind of life, but truthfully… it’s not the kind of life I’d be happy with….”
Izuku lifted his head, turning to Katsuki. The alpha gulped, heart racing at the headstrong gaze. He really needed to go to find out why this omega affected him so much.

“Call me strange or stupid, I don’t care,” Izuku said, staring up at the blond alpha,
“but I want to know what’s out there… beyond this tiny village lays a world undiscovered and I want to explore it.”

Katsuki felt a pang of guilt in his chest. He shouldn’t have been dismissive of Izuku. He couldn't help but also feel a sense of pride at having Izuku by his side
He knew it was just a fake relationship, but he couldn't deny that he found the omega intriguing.

"Well, maybe one day you'll get your chance," Katsuki said, trying to sound encouraging.

Izuku smiled up at him, green eyes crinkling adorably.
"Thanks, Kacchan. That means a lot coming from you."

They continued walking in comfortable silence, enjoying the cool night air. As they approached Izuku's small cottage, Katsuki stopped and turned to face him.
He took the omega’s hands in his, thumbs caressing scarred flesh.

"Izuku," he said, his voice serious as he gazed into wide green eyes. "I know this fake relationship thing is just for show, but I want you to know that I'm here for you. Should you ever need anything, just ask."
Izuku looked up at him, his eyes widening just a fraction with surprise, his round cheeks dusted pink.

"Thank you, Kacchan. That...that really means a lot to me."

Katsuki sensed someone staring at them, and when he glanced above the omega’s wild, curly head,
he was met with two gossiping elderly women. They were whispering to each other, shock marring their wrinkled features.

They were probably wondering why the son of the chieftess was with an omega.

Katsuki chuckled darkly.
His eyes sparkling in the moonlight and lips turning into a feral smirk. He quickly pulled the green-haired omega into his embrace, causing a shocked squeak to escape from his lips.

“K-Kacchan—What are you—?”

"Relax, Deku,” the blonde whispered into his ear.
Wrapping his burly arms around the omega’s waist, he muttered enticingly, “It's just a little acting. It seems like we have our very first audience."

Izuku frowned at the nickname, but didn't say anything.
Instead, he focused on the way Katsuki's hand brushed against the small of his back and the way the alpha’s lips caressed the shell of his ear. It was a small gesture, but it sent a shiver down his spine, goosebumps flanking across his skin despite the warm air.
“Let’s give them a show,” Katsuki murmured lowly, nuzzling dark curls, and breathing in his earthy scent. Izuku gasped, feeling Katsuki nosing at Izuku’s neck in search of more of his scent. Izuku stood stiffly, his hands hovering uncertainly against Katsuki’s back.
Izuku’s senses were consumed with Katsuki. He was hyper aware of everything in that moment. It was too much all at once. It felt like hours had passed before the elderly women walked away with a huff.
Even when they had disappeared around the corner, they stood in each others embrace. Izuku was the one who finally pulled away, heart clenching at the dazed look in Katsuki’s eyes.

“D-Do you think we succeeded?” Izuku asked, breaking the blonde out of his reverie.
“Ah, y-yeah.”

Katsuki winced. Smooth. Real smooth. It caused the omega to smile shyly up at him nonetheless. He considered it a win.

Katsuki lingered outside the omega’s door. "I'll see you tomorrow, then," he said, his voice low.
Izuku swallowed hard, his eyes darting to Katsuki's lips. "Y-yeah. Tomorrow."

Katsuki leaned in close, his breath hot against Izuku's ear. "You know, I'm starting to think this fake relationship might not be so bad after all."
Izuku's heart skipped a beat as Katsuki pulled away, a cocky grin on his face. He watched as Katsuki walked away, his heart racing and his mind reeling.

As he entered his cottage, Izuku clicked the door shut before leaning his back against it.
He lifted his hands to his face and cupped his warm cheeks. He couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth in his chest, his lips stretched into a giddy, wobbly smile.

Maybe this fake relationship wouldn't be so bad after all.

bkdk, angst, one-sided bk x ochako, misunderstandings, happy ending

Izuku always had a mantra running through his head: “I’m not the kind of person people can fall in love with.” He was distinctly aware that he’ll never be the one who gets the guy.

He’ll never get Kacchan.
See, Izuku had these feelings. These intense, fiery tendrils that snaked around his heart and squeezed, almost crushingly, at the mere thought of the blonde. Some may call it obsession, but to Izuku it’s something else entirely.

Love.

Love for his childhood best friend.
It was an adoration fit for a god, and if Izuku had it his way, he’d gladly devote himself to Kacchan. His love was as devout as a disciple of God.

Katsuki, for all his intelligence, was oblivious to the true notion of his emotions.

“Wow, that collar is beautiful! Bakugo must have spent a fortune on it.”

Izuku paused, peering over the edge of his book to stare at his step sister and her friends fawning over the expensive jeweled collar.

“He must really like you…”
“Isn’t this your second season with him?” Tsuyu questioned, tapping her fingertip on her chin curiously.

Ochako flushed, her cheeks dusted pink. She toyed with the dangling crystals at her collarbone, glancing away like some shy maiden.

Izuku knew better though.
“You know what they say right?” Mina said teasingly, “If you’re with the same alpha after three seasons, you’re good as mated.”

Izuku gripped his book, the pages crinkling between his fingertips. He tried to push down the burning jealousy brewing in his gut.

#bkdk and camie/shindo grew up in the same neighborhood. Camie babysat Bk and Shindo babysat Dk.

As they got older, Bk loathed Shindo bc he had a “crush” on Camie…

…and also bc Dk confessed to him that he’s been crushing on Shindo.
That smarmy bastard. Who does he think he is hogging the attention of the two most important people to him?!

Especially Dk.

His skin crawls every time the nerd went all starry-eyed and blushing till he resembled a strawberry whenever Shindo is mentioned.

Ugh. Disgusting.
Dk should only look at him. And Camie, he’d think afterwards.

So what if Shindo is the town’s popular basketball player. Bk takes that title for himself years later. So what if Shindo makes it big and becomes a hotshot CEO?!

Bk scoffs, taking over his family’s designer company

#bkdk QL A/B/O AU

O! Dk has been in love with A! Bk since he could remember. They promised each other that one day they’d mate and have a happy family. It was a child’s dream. For Dk didn’t know the absolute suffering and pain that was to come—all in the shape of Bk… & Camie.
Dk and Bk were close. Once. Although, as they grew older and they presented, the childlike wonder and love they had for each other dwindled until it became nothing short of a memory.

But Dk remembered. He’d always remember.
He’d hold onto the promise that Bk made like a lifeline thrown out into the endless, turbulent sea of his undying love and constant yearning.

They were in high school now. Seniors to be exact.

BkDk where they’re married and believed to be in love. But then bk cheats on dk with someone they know. Dk inevitability finds out in the worst way imaginable. Bk expects Dk to cry—to become this emotional mess, but to Bk’s shock, he doesn’t…
Dk’s face, once bright with love and adoration for his husband, turns icy and expressionless. As Dk wordlessly begins to pack his things, Bk kicks his lover out and scrambles to convince Dk to stop.

“P-Please I can explain!” Bk cries, clawing desperately at Dk, and reaching out
To hold onto him. The moment his hand makes contact with Dk’s skin, Dk drops his luggage and clothes abruptly.

He roughly snatches his arm back, Dk’s lips curl with disgust, his vibrant green eyes darkened with revulsion, and says, “There’s nothing to explain, Bakugo.”

#bkdk #angst #cheating (but not really) — —

Thinking about QL O!Dk and PH A!Bk who’ve been married for a few years. Bk is currently in the top ten & quickly climbing up the ranks. He has a huge fan base and the public adore him. They love his brash behavior & his fiery passion.
Not to mention he’s hot as fuck. He’s considered the epitome of what an Alpha should be—strong, masculine, and sexy. It goes without saying that an alpha as amazing as Bk should have a mate on the same level as him.
So you can imagine everyone’s surprise when Bk formally introduced his mate, Dk.

“Listen up you fucking extras!” Bk shouted at the press conference, bulging muscled arms crossed over his broad chest, “I’ve got an announcement to make.”
