I’m in the gallery. Waiting to see if they vote to remove my state representative. If they do, I won’t be quiet. I’m ready to make good trouble.

They are honoring Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr right now, another person killed by gun violence in #Tennessee.

@brotherjones_ just acknowledged his constituents in the gallery. He got a standing ovation from those of us in the balcony.

Rep Faison just spoke. Several people in the gallery yelled and got gaveled down by Speaker Sexton who is now having people removed by state troopers for “being disruptive.”

Now Rep Bo Mitchell speaking up for those of us in the gallery. Says we have a right to be here.

We can here the moms and kids chanting “Gun control, now!” In the rotunda outside the house floor. I love to hear it!

@brotherjones_ bringing the fire and speaking truth to power about a BS “election confidence” bill. I’m so proud to call him my representative, for however long he represents #Tennessee House district 52.

They just called for the resolution the remove Rep Justin Pearson. The gallery erupted in disgust and were all ejected by Speaker Sexton

We are now in the rotunda

Crowd is chanting “our house,” and “speaker sexton has got to go.”

And now they’ve escorted us all out of the rotunda. Apparently the representatives are afraid of walking past us

I’m home now and finally eating dinner. I’ll be back for the vote on the resolution Thursday morning at 9am. I hope district 52 shows up for @brotherjones_ and @VoteGloriaJ and @Justinjpearson’s constituency shows up too!
