incredible, this entire article hinges on editor @AlexShultz being upset that a reporter quoted the mother of a toddler shot to death who is distraught bc the DA is trying to remove gun charges

“how dare these reporters report when it inconveniences my ideology!” 🤡
Wildly condescending for @AlexShultz to scoff at constituents for protesting the DA saying she wants leniency for the toddler’s shooter

If you’re voting in San Francisco the most impactful thing is

❌ no Prop E

This combo removes the arbitrary power of politicians like @DeanPreston from blocking new housing bc it lowers their own property values or bc they don’t like the color or whatever. Image
It sucks for voters that it’s written like an LSAT question, but housing supply is one of the big blockers to SF flourishing this is a big chance to unblock housing instead of letting Supervisors play Central Planner like they currently do.

So I looked up the Super Kamiokande neutrino detector pictured, and some worker uploaded a bunch of photos to google maps. There are some real SCP vibes here:

Also: Japan is building a 20x larger *Hyper Kamiokande detector opening in 2027, no doubt to maintain its strategic preeminence in cyberpunk-af infrastructure.
