Ever since God Valley & the Rocks Pirates were revealed in chapter 957, Oda has been steadily increasing the amount of plots revolving around them.
In 1049, Oda broke the 4th wall through Kaido & told us that everything revolves around the Rocks Pirates.
Let's see how.
For now, we will skip over discussing WB, BM & Kaido. Everyone will already be well aware of their significance & discussing it would be very long winded, so we'll address that briefly at the end.
Let's focus on the more current plotlines.
The Rocky Port Incident
This is perhaps one of the most intriguing plot lines involving the Rocks Pirates. It was first introduced to us in chapter 700.
This incident was apparently masterminded by Trafalgar D. Water Law.
We learned later in chapter 903, that Coby became known as a hero for saving civilians during this same Rocky Port Incident.
More recently, in chapter 1059, we also learned that Coby's actions also somehow enabled Blackbeard to oust Ochoku, aka, Wang Zhi, former member of the Rocks Pirates; from Pirate Island.
This is our first connection to the Rocks Pirates & God Valley.
In the latest chapter, Coby is escaping from the prison on Pirate Island after Perona freed him, on the condition that he freed Moria in return.
As I mentioned recently. Coby may also find Ochoku in these cells.
This connects us to a line from Kaido at the beginning of Onigashima.
1stly, if Ochoku controlled Pirate Island after God Valley, that means these words apply to him.
2ndly, if Coby is going to ally w/ Moria & Ochoku, then we know what to expect next.
These lines also give us one of the clearest insights in to what actually happened at God Valley.
When members such as Kaido were defeated, the loyalties between the crew broke & they all betrayed each other.
Some of them, such as Ochoku, simply abandoned them and sailed away.
Captain John's Treasure
Captain John is another one of the lesser known members of the Rocks Pirates.
Ever since chapter 233, Buggy has been searching for John's legendary lost treasure.
Captain John actually appeared as one of the zombies in Thriller Bark.
It was here that Luffy found an armband that Buggy later explained during Impel Down, was actually a treasure marker, indicating the location of John's lost treasure.
Since we know that Buggy is struggling for money, it seems that he has not yet found Captain John's treasure, despite having the marker revealing where it is.
That means that this is also likely to be relevant again soon.
Miss Buckingham 'Bakkin' Stussy
Stussy was first introduced as a member of CP0, but now we've learned that the Stussy we know is actually a clone of Miss Buckingham Stussy.
Former member of the Rocks Pirates.
This is the old lady who claims to be the mother of Whitebeard's son
Because Stussy has been cloned, this enabled her character to literally be in two places at once & through this, her character plays two roles simultaneously.
Whilst one is involved in the conspiracy revolving around Vegapunk, the other is chasing Whitebeard's inheritance.
Vegapunk
This leads us to considering the connection that Vegapunk himself has to the Rocks Pirates & God Valley.
One of the Rocks Pirates was a member of MADS & Vegapunk apparently captured Kaido at some undefined point after God Valley.
Perhaps it is possible that Stussy is in part responsible Kaido ending up at Punk Hazard.
Stussy was described as a, 'freeloader' & 'self proclaimed scientist', so it would make sense if she for her to sell out Kaido in order to try to gain Vegapunk approval.
Weevil
Stussy claims that Weevil is the biological son of Whitebeard. However, I think everyone agrees that he is actually a failed clone of Whitebeard.
If this is the case, then it gives us a window in to a sad story of Stussy's failed love affair with Whitebeard.
It seems that Stussy genuinely loved Whitebeard, but he rejected her.
The jaded Stussy then desperately attempted to simulate Whitebeard's love & prove her ability in science, by producing a clone to be her son.
Whitebeard's Inheritance
Since Whitebeard died, Stussy has been claiming that she and Weevil should receive his inheritance.
Whatever this treasure is remains unknown, but it is interesting that there is yet another treasure of the Rocks Pirates that remains to be claimed.
Since Weevil was captured by Greenbull, i've been suggesting that Stussy / Bakkin, will put a contract out on Greenbull through the Cross Guild.
Claiming WB's inheritance as promised payment.
If this were to happen, then it would mean that two lost treasures of former members of the Rocks Pirates are being pursued by members of Cross Guild. Buggy & Crocodile.
Perhaps there might also be something connected to the Rocks Pirates that Mihawk wants to obtain. 🤔
Kuma
The subject of cloning also creates a connection to Bartholomew Kuma.
Although Stussy was the first successful clone, Kuma has been the main model for Vegapunk's Pacifista Project.
It was recently confirmed that Kuma is Bonney's father & we learned that he has long since been friends with Vegapunk.
The reason Kuma subjected himself to the Pacifista Project is still unknown, but we have begun to see in to his past through Bonney experiencing his memories.
Through this flashback, it has so far been revealed that Kuma was one a slave of the Celestial Dragons.
However, he does not have the usual Dragon's Claw brand. If you look closely, you can see that this brand also seems to bare the mark of Imu's eye.
I believe that this mark is a clue indicating that Kuma was not a slave at Mariejois, but God Valley.
He appears to be about 9 in the flashback & this would fit the timeline. As he is currently 47 & the God Valley Incident was 38 years ago.
Memories
This leads to the possibility that we're about to see a God Valley flashback through Kuma's perspective as one of the slaves protected by Garp & Roger.
I believe this is the case, but I also believe that we will see this flashback from a 2nd perspective, Garp's.
Monkey D. Garp. Hero of the Marines.
Garp is currently raiding Pirate Island in attempt to rescue Coby.
I think everyone agrees that Garp is going to end up taking Coby's place as Blackbeard's captive & he would make a much better bargaining chip than Coby.
If Coby is about to release Moria & possibly also Ochoku from Blackbeard's prison, then there is another prisoner who he might find. Pudding.
If Garp is about to be betrayed & captured, then Pudding can be used to access his memories.
Although Garp may be about to be captured, he may be able to do some serious damage to Blackbeard's base.
If Garp were to destroy the skull fortress. It would effectively be like tearing down the symbol of the Rocks Pirates.
Morgans would sell it as a declaration of war.
If this were to happen, it would mean that all 3 members of the Monkey D. family have had moments in which they declare war.
Lastly. There is the apparent connection between God Valley being erased from history, the erasure of Lulusia Kingdom & the foretold 'Great Cleansing.'
It seems that the upcoming 'Shocking Incident' at Egghead. is going to parallel God Valley.
To conclude. Almost all of the current plot lines revolve around former members of the Rocks Pirates.
Oda is likely using these scattered plot lines to eventually converge on one location.
All Roads Lead to God Valley.
Afterthoughts
I'll leave you with one last consideration.
We now have current or past plot lines revolving around all of the former Rocks Pirates except two.
Shiki & Silver Axe.
Many people want Shiki to return
& maybe a reach but, what if Silver Axe is, aka, Scopper Gaban?

A Cenotaph, from the Greek, "κενοτάφιον." Refers to an empty tomb that is erected in honour of the deceased whose remains are elsewhere or otherwise lost.
In this theory, I will focus on the Cenotaph that seems to sit in the centre of Alabasta's royal crypt.
Let's get in to it.
It seems that this empty tomb in Alabasta's royal crypt represents a parallel to the Empty Throne at Mariejois.
I believe that this cenotaph is supposed to represent the tomb of Nefertari D. Lili.
Back in chapter 1084, Cobra mentioned that Lili never made it home to Alabasta.
In this theory, I will try to convince you not only that Akainu will be the main antagonist of Elbaf arc, but also that Dragon and Kuzan will both become directly involved.
Let's get in to it.
What could possibly lead to Akainu becoming the main antagonist of the arc, and what could bring both Kuzan and Dragon into the picture as well?
Oda is distracting us with the emotion of Robin and Saul's reunion, so we're not paying attention to the broader implications.
The concept of the Sun God Nika was first introduced to us in chapter 1018, during Jinbe's fight with Who's Who.
Who's Who told us of the legend of a warrior who it is said will one day free the slaves. A Warrior of Liberation!
Although we had not heard of this before. This legend seemed familiar to us already.
This is because Oda planted the seed for it was back in Skypiea. Through this scene of Luffy and the crew dancing at a bonfire. All the way back in chapter 253.
