Food for thought as I see a lot of GOPe saying we need 'nice and normal' to appeal to the mythical middle. We are told people just want normal and easy.
There is a problem with that argument and I will attempt to explain it.
1/ 🧵
First lets go back to 2020.
There was one blessing from the school closures.
Parents became aware of what was happening at their kids schools and they engaged directly.
It began to grow and spread as a bottom up movement.
2/
Do you realize it has only been 18 months since the parents in VA discovered what happened in Loudon County?
Parents across the state mobilized. McCauliffe doubled down (Dems always do) otoh Youngkin embraced parents and he won.
It was a local/state issue that enabled a win
3/
It had not spread across the country yet.
But it continues to spread and the Dems are doubling down.
Can you believe that the race that shocked the world only happened last year?
One year ago, @Riley_Gaines_ had the courage to speak out against Lia Thomas.
4/
Some of us who spoke up about the dangers to women's sports, but we were told it was NBD and not to worry.
They ignored the playbook of the Left which is always double down.
Which they did.
And here we are. Trans people accepting women of the year awards.
It took ONE YEAR.
5/
But that wasn't good enough. Corporate America got involved and put a trans person into a 'spokesmodel' role for multiple women's products.
One year. This person just celebrated One Year of 'being a girl'
The mushy middle is becoming aware of what is happening.
In their schools.
In the media
To their favorite brands
And the answer from the GOPe is to 'be nice'?
7/
Parents are standing up to school boards all across the country.
The left wants to mutilate children without parental involvement
People are fleeing to Red States and
The GOPe answer is to 'be nice'
8/
Is there perhaps another reason that people are fleeing to Red States?
Crime.
DAs in Blue Cities are letting criminals go.
Retailers are abandoning cities.
I grew up in Birmingham, AL in the 70s and 80s. Downtown became a ghost town.
That is what is literally happening
9/
In our 'best cities' New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, etc.
People flee areas where there is a perception of increased crime.
Perception is reality.
Hold that thought.
10/
Perception is reality...
Children are being called racist through CRT and parents push back
Children are being groomed by trans activists in schools and separated from their parents
Trans people are taking over women's spaces..
Dems double down
Perception is reality...
11/
1. The Dems are for LATE TERM abortion. Which is NOT popular.
2. Dobbs sent it back to the states.
The person..
12/
Who is considered 'normal and nice' @SenatorTimScott
He wants a national abortion law..
Is that either normal or nice?
That is contrary to Dobbs..
Why would he push it?
Why would he, or anyone not say the Dems are for abortion up until birth.
That is the message.
13/
Trump did that effectively in the debate against HRC.
Why haven't others followed his lead?
That is the question.
Dont run and hide. Confront.
Why do the GOPe shy away from this argument?
14/
Why do they shy away from confronting any part of the 'culture war'
Politics are downstream from culture.
The messy middle is waking up to the dangers we face.
Do we want 'nice and normal' or a wartime fighter?
15/
Our conservative principles are under attack at every level in our society
Families
Churches
Schools
Communities
Towns
Counties
States
And now, on the international stage.
16/
We have become an international joke.
Afghanistan withdrawal
Ukraine
Border
Middle Eastern allies align with Iran
South American Allies aligning with China.
African nations aligning with China
Even Macron aligniging with China..
At this time, with all we face, do we need
17/
People that want to fold?
People that dont want to fight?
90 years ago a man stood up.
He was considered a profane man and almost a reprobate for his time.
But he saw what was happening.
He was the wartime leader his country needed.
They didnt face a fifth column.
18/
We do. Whether or not the GOPe want to acknowledge it or not.
We do.
It is not the time for 'normal and nice'
It is not the time for inexperience.
We face existential threats from without and within.
We need a Churchill for such a time as this.
19/
It is astonishing to me that all of the Neocons and GOPe who hate Trump and DeSantis and call for 'normal and nice' love Churchill
Do they really not understand what time it is?
Are they that insulated in their bubble?
20/
In summary.
In 2024, we need a warrior.
We don't need a 'normal and nice' person.
We don't need a business as usual throwback.
We don't need an all things to all people candidate.
We need a Churchill.
Choose wisely

I consider myself a normal person who is plugged into news.
I want to give you a snapshot of the last 24 hours. Different POVs. Critical thinking is needed.
Last night I watched @TuckerCarlson final interview with Trump discussing the existential threats our country faces
1/
Next I watched @Timcast with @JesseKellyDC . They discussed the Budlight issue and the republic ending dangers we face from the Left and how we need to overcome them and fight back.
This morning I listened to @hughhewitt who said the biggest threat to the country was the leak
2/
And that all other stories in comparison were 'silly'
The greatest danger to our Republic is a leaker who revealed sources and methods.
Who needs to be arrested because he hurt us with our allies. He was also gobsmacked...
3/
The Left wanted it so badly. They expected it. The mayor warned about it.
They wanted that Right Wing Domestic Terrorism talking point.
It didnt happen.
My thoughts...
1/
I attended rallies in Atl in Nov/Dec 2020.
They happened all over the country.
Peaceful.
One day changed everything.
Conservative influencers beg people dont go out to protest.
Why? Bc we know J6 was out of the norm and have fear they would do it again.
Do what exactly?
2/
Agitators are in the crowd. Infiltrators are in the crowd.
We saw that and are on guard.
The Left wants us to give up our right to protest.
Why should we?
We are literally not only mostly peaceful, we are super majority peaceful. @GavinWax@RepMTG showed the way today.
3/
The GOP loss in 2012 was blamed on a catastrophic failure of the vaunted 'app' the GOP used
The GOP data is still horrible.
For example
I am a precinct chair. 1. When I became precinct chair in 2021 and saw my neighborhood data.
I knew immediately that it was flawed
I live in a neighborhood of 70 homes. I know most of my neighbors in a dark red area.
The list for my neighborhood included 10% of people that I knew personally had moved out more than 5 years earlier.
And did not include people I knew were Conservative that had moved in.
2. Fast forward to 2022. The list was purged, somewhat. But I knew it was not up to date because I know my neighbors.
Which is why I am precinct chair.
Nobody has knocked on our doors ever bc we are dark red. We had multiple knockers, including me and my team in 2022
I like listening to podcasts. I especially like listening to Tucker being a guest on other people's podcasts when it is not scripted.
This one was really good.
Tucker is dyslexic. Never watches TV.. interesting.
Knows Epstein was killed, Barr lied...
No one will talk about it because they got to Epstein in a Federal prison.
The most fascinating part was the end. UFOs. I watch his show regularly and I NEVER heard this before.
Over 100 people have died from contact with UFOs
They may be coming from the seas, not space?
They are drawn towards nuclear powered weapons.
Defense contractors have the wreckage, not DOD. All of this is public record, but we dont know and dont care?
It puts something Chris Miller said on @Timcast in context. He never asked for the UFO briefing.
