1/ Superthread: Microsoft Copilot AI means we all have our own executive assistant.

I spent time with the @Microsoft @Microsoft365 team this am, they are partnered with OpenAI/GPT. Here's what you need to know.

#AI Image
2/ Microsoft 365 Copilot uses similar natural language experiences that you already know with GPT, and combines it as a layer on top of existing 365 business apps Image
3/ Microsoft 365 Copilot is integrated across the apps you already know: word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, and teams. Image
4/ You can use natural language and ask the AI to do tasks for you, such as "create a budget proposal for a research project" --and it will work on your behalf. Image
5/ Here's how Copilot works within Word, it can generate your documents with simple prompts, and pull in data from other sources. Image
6/ After you finish that word doc, you can ask Copilot to create a powerpoint slide for you, complete with speaker notes, images and animations in the style you want! Image
7/ Here's how Copilot plans to generate a slide deck for you, see key features and use cases: Image
8/ Copilot can produce reports for you in Excel, find data, patterns and even graph. No more worrying about how to create pivot tables. Image
9/ Outlook now integrates Copilot, both desktop and in this version of mobile. It can summarize long email threads, and help you compose appropriate emails. It will analyze your inbox and sort for you. Image
10/ Outlook and CoPilot means you have a virtual assistant at the ready --but no humans are needed. Image
11/ Copilot is integrated into teams, it will summarize multiple discussions, identify highlights and compose a summary for you. Less time reading and searching, more time making decisions. Image
12/ Copilot can listen into a team call for you, and create real time transcripts, and even summaries. It will also point out when the attendees don't always agree on topics. Image
13/ Teams now uses Copilot, and it's like there a dedicated not taker, meeting facilitator and project manager in every call. Image
14/ Finally, Copilot will help you organize your day, it will review all your documents, discussions, calendar, emails and help you start the day with a prioritized day.

It's like everyone is an executive with a personal assistant. Image
15/ Summary:
-Extremely powerful integration.
-We all have our own Exec assistant.
-Google workplace needs to step up.
-Some project managers and coordinators may be at risk.
-Productivity will boost.

The team also showed code development, I didn't cover that #ai
16/ Cindy Wang, You did a great job on the presentation! thanks for taking my questions.
17/ All, Microsoft didn't provide a specific date on when the release happens or on specific pricing.

1/ 🤖 I attended a milestone moment in AI movement, "Woodstock of AI" last night in SF, and it's clear that AI is about to accelerate.

Let me show you my front row view in the rocketship: 🚀

#WoodstockAI #ai
2/ About me: I've experienced many tech cycles and can spot signs of a new movement. The AI revolution is emerging with the right elements: energy, market conditions, tech, user adoption, and narratives. 🔥
3/ Last night: "Woodstock of AI," a meetup for open-source AI, challenging the idea of a single corporate monopoly. Social media buzz led to 3 venue changes, finally landing at SF's large Exploratorium on the waterfront. 🌉
