Chitkul- it is the last village of India. It has very beautiful scenery and nature. Visit chitkul mata mandir. Apart from that there's nothing more. If you want you can eat in the last dhaba of india although the taste is average. Roads are also not that good.
Vali, the elder brother of sughreeva was not always a bad character. Infact he was a great king of kishkindha and was loved & respected a lot by other vanars including the sughreeva in his earlier days. He also helped god in samundra manthan.
But one day a Rakshsa Mayavi challenged vali for a fight. And during the fight Mayavi, entered inside a narrow cave. Vali followed Mayavi & asked Sughreeva to wait outside the cave.
A year passed but vali didn't return, also, a lot of blood came out from the cave.
Witnessing all these, sughriva misinterpreted that mayavi had killed his brother. He closed the cave by placing a rock.
Vanaras declared him as their new king. But eventually, vali returned and thought that it was all the conspiracy of sughriva to capture his throne.

This is Sphatik Sheela. It is believed that Sita Mata's Footprints are printed on this rock.
This rock is situated on the banks of the Mandakini river at some distance from Janaki Kund, Chitrakoot, MP.
It is said that Mata Sita & Shri Ram used to sit here, one day Jayant (Indra dev's son) took the form of a crow and pecked at Mata's feet.
Enraged by him, Shri Rama shot him with a bl@de of grass to kill him. He fled and reached Indraloka but Indra dev refused to help him. In guilty & full of remorse, he returned to the feet of Shri Rama and asked for an apology.
