The recent @PardyBruce presentation at the #NCI has taught me that simply identifying a problem and providing a solution to it is insufficient when a majority of Canadians do not recognize the original problem as a threat.
Personally, I think these politicians are on a crash course with reality. The mindless masses in the urban centers might be easily influenced, but with all the illegal migrants housed in Niagara, that town may vote #PPC in the next election.
Normally, with #NCI witnesses, I take 10-20 segments and generalize them, but Mr. Pardy packs so much wisdom into his segment that I am pretty sure I recreated his entire testimony here.

Professor Mansur establishes three different time frames. First, in 1867, the BNA Act put checks and balances on the government. Next, in 1982, the Charter put limitations on the power of the government. Finally, in 2021 the Supreme Court of Canada threw all of that out.
