Drug overdoses are skyrocketing because Gov. @GavinNewsom & SF Mayor @LondonBreed refuse to shut down the open air drug markets and mandate drug treatment. Instead, they're letting people repeatedly OD and die on the streets and in homeless hotels. It's grotesque & inhumane.
It's true that drug deaths are rising in other cities like Seattle, but the reason is the same everywhere: failure to shut down the open drug markets & mandate treatment.

And @GavinNewsom helped create the disaster with his addiction enablement agenda.

There is a big debate over who blew up the Nord Stream pipeline. Instead of allowing the debate, Facebook has decided to take a side. It is censoring Pulitzer-winning journalist Seymour Hersh. And instead of explaining, Facebook sends readers to an article in Norwegian. Watch

Maybe Hersh is wrong and maybe he's right. Whatever the case, it's not up to Facebook to decide.

It's increasingly clear that the Intelligence Community and its proxies in think tanks & the media are using "digital hate" like they used "Russian disinfo": as justification for censoring constitutionally-protected speech by ordinary citizens.
We tend to think of the Woke mob & the Intelligence Community as entirely different groups. The former lead BLM protests and demand that university teachers be fired for microaggressions; the latter attend Council on Foreign Relations dinners and worry about "Russian disinfo.
And yet, while researching the Twitter Files and the broader Censorship Industrial Complex, I kept coming across individuals who effortlessly combined the language of the Woke and the language of national security types, and indeed demanded censorship in the name of fighting… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Whistleblowers used to be able to leak information vital to the public interest, like the Pentagon Papers, to mainstream news journalists. That's no longer the case. Today, mainstream journalists help the government hunt down whistleblowers. @mtaibbi

Unlike many "mainstream" journalists, @mtaibbi @lwoodhouse and I still strongly subscribe to the Pentagon Papers Principle. We protect our sources and would never help the government hunt them down. We protect those brave enough to share information.

We are not in 1971 anymore. Here is a list of corporations and journalists who appear to reject the Pentagon Papers Principle and may help the government track down whistleblowers and leakers. They should be mistrusted, not trusted.
