#Twitterblue Over the years was I hoping that I would earn one of those verified blue checks? Of course I was.
We all know it had made a difference and gave those who had it more credibility.

The only problem with it was when Twitter blue came out back then it was only available in Australia and Canada.
When I did finally purchase a Twitter blue account I did not read all the things that were supposed to happen as a result of the purchase.
I just did it because I knew wanted less ads and be able to tweet longer and more frequently without being restricted.
But a few months ago a very dear friend of mine said to me:
“Oh wow you got verified how did you do that? There’s a blue Twitter check next to your name.”
I didn’t even know that there was a check mark there. I looked and there it was. When I bought Twitter blue it was not $11… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
I’m trying to buy notoriety or recognition but I do like the other features of the new Twitter blue. Being able to edit tweets is very helpful especially when you make as many mistakes as I do.

But there’s another point I want to make - don’t assume that all these people that keep blue checks next to their names are frauds or have bad intentions —
There are literally millions of wonderful and good people that like those blue Twitter features just like I did.
