1. Public opinion means nothing to entrenched party interests. Whether W’s GOP or Scholz’s SPD, it’s party & cronies before nat’l & intl security every time. Protests don’t deter party-first politicians. But threat of serious consequences can (as intl pressure on Scholz showed).
2. Western hypocrisy is dictators’ greatest weapon. From the ‘War on Terror’ to police brutality (esp but not only in 🇺🇸), from preaching human rights while profiting off of & enriching those who abuse them (esp but not only in 🇩🇪), we undermine the freedom we purport to defend.

These photos were taken a while ago but got delayed due to folks being busy with (REDACTED). Thank you to 💙Everyone💛 who supported & shared the tourniquet campaign! You helped save hundreds of lives (and made some medics very happy, like @AngryMuza here :)
The campaign was so successful we were able to order Quikclot & combat gauze on top of the tourniquet goal too. Big thanks again to our supplier highthreatinnovations.com /IG @traumapak, a small biz founded by former medics who donated $500 worth of combat medic bags on top❤️‍🩹
The supplies went to front line units in Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Donetsk, & Mykolaivska oblasts. These brave medics are out there every day risking their lives to save others 💙✊ Every tourniquet & pack of combat gauze or Quikclot we sent is helping these medics save someone's life

Remember the 🇩🇪 IT company @janboehm revealed is a russian company founded by an ex-KGB agent? I spoke w/ cybersecurity experts about it & yes, it gets worse.
🚨 #Protelion had opportunity to compromise every company that used their software & give Moscow access to their network
Protelion/Infotecs sold software in 🇩🇪 for yrs that scans IT networks for vulnerabilities *from the inside*. That means:
❗️ They could report vulnerabilities to russia
‼️ Bc the software is installed by the admin they'd be able to plant other software & time bombs in the network
That means **any of the 1M+ companies that have used Infotecs/Protelion software may be potentially spied on & compromised by russia**
