FT: Arsenal 3 Southampton 3. Two late goals rescue #AFC an astonishing point. It hands #MCFC a big title advantage. Arsenal will likely have to now win at the Etihad on April 26. But a tremendous fightback nonetheless despite the poor result in the bigger picture. ImageImageImageImage
Arsenal naturally dejected at full-time. But the manner in which they came back at least gives them something positive to cling to ahead of #MCFC. But failing to beat the bottom side and move seven-clear, is nothing to celebrate and the final whistle scenes reflected that.
Southampton will also feel gutted. A win would have taken them off the bottom. It still might prove a valuable point for them in their fight against relegation. Really neither side will be happy with a draw, but it could have been worse for #AFC and title is still in their hands.
And of course... the title is also in #MCFC's hands, too.🍿

Mauricio Pochettino would be a strong fit at Chelsea. Club sources have always maintained throughout the process to date no singular favourite has been determined, but with only three primary candidates left it's clear Pochettino has impressed in talks.🔵 Image
Chelsea are hoping to complete the hiring process relatively fast now. There's no specific deadline, but there's a feeling significant headway can be made before the month is out. A recommendation will be put to Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali.
Pochettino was also considered prior to Graham Potter's arrival. He wasn't entirely sold due to starting post-window and in-season, and having only recently left PSG.

Exclusive: At least three Premier League teams are considering joining the new Union of European Clubs (UEC), which launches in Brussels on Monday and has the support of LaLiga president Javier Tebas. Crystal Palace definitely in.🦅 Image

UEC is not positioning itself as a toy in the 'fight' between Tebas and Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who don't see eye to eye. Tebas and LaLiga didn't come up with it, but after meeting the founders a few months ago they are backing it.

🗣️ Thierry Henry speaks to us at @CBSSportsGolazo on Arsenal's Premier League chances. "The last game [against West Ham] didn’t reassure me. From Arsenal's point of view, since the beginning of the season, I have been saying you don’t win a title on emotions... Image
"You can win a cup, the #UCL, maybe even the World Cup. But across 38 games you can’t be too emotional about it, and recently we’ve been too emotional...
"You can feel the emotion coming, but don’t be emotional. There’s a difference. Stay calm. We are still ahead of #MCFC, but I am saying they need to get rid of the emotional part of the game and concentrate on what they have to do...

Joan Laporta calls allegations Barcelona paid for preferential officiating "one of the most ferocious attacks in our history". Prosecutors allege Barcelona paid £7.4m to Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira (ex-VP of Spain's referees' committee). Barca say money was for consultancy work. Image
🗣️ "I am fully convinced Barcelona has never performed any act with the intention of altering the competition to gain an advantage. Consulting on technical-refereeing issues does not constitute any kind of illegal act...
"This is one of the most ferocious attacks in our history. Barcelona has not committed any crime of sports-related corruption. I hope that sooner rather than later it is fully exonerated. I ask Barcelona supporters to be as united as ever in defence of our crest."
