Third time will not be charm for me. Officially #NeverTrump
I voted for him twice. Second time was harder than the first. I was already disgusted by the people he hired and surrounded himself with during the pandemic response, every one of them more awful than the next. He kept… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
an unmitigated disaster. They failed. The end. He still preaches how wonderful they are. Refusing to admit defeat. As he flew to free Florida and every frontline worker and college student in a blue state was forced to receive them in order to hold a job or an education, he ran… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
He. Ran. To. Florida. The same place, he as recently as today, stated failed the Covid response. The same state that sent their children back to school, did not have vaccine passports, allowed people to get back to work and didn’t close parks or cancel sports.
His insecurities towards Ron DeSantis are not only unhinged, they’re embarrassing. A man who hasn’t filed for candidacy is living rent free in his twisted head. Aren’t you tired of this yet? This toddleresque name calling and childish insults. It’s enough. The world is in… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Drain the Swamp. I must have missed that, but hell, he claims he’s going to really do it this time. Waited patiently and yet here we are. Not only are the same people in office, BUT every horrific Governor that treated their tax paying citizens like prisoners were re-elected. Dr.… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Age. Continuing to entertain geriatric candidates is ridiculous. Age does matter. We have sadly learned that very hard lesson with a President with obvious dementia. One who has no idea what the hell is going on. Can we please move away from end of life care conversations when… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Trump will do anything to feed his ego and get re-elected. Next up, trans ideology should be handled by the states, mutilating children is fine, and the same fake Bible walking parade he once displayed will soon turn into abortion is a woman’s right to choose. After taking all… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
In closing, I cannot sign onto another election where I hold my nose and pick a person who’s is in this for no one other than himself. This country is broken, struggling, and suffering. This is not the solution. No more Trump.

As an educator, I have watched the education system implode in this country with one part anger, one part sadness. When school buildings closed, I was afraid and I pushed to return. Children and germs have been a way of life for over 20 years. I pride myself on my immune system.
Knowing children had been sent home to unsafe homes, without the meals they usually eat at school, and with zero direction or plan, I panicked. What were we thinking and why would we do this? Months turned to years for some and faces were plastered into phones
and laptops. There is no parent on this earth who could monitor the subpar education we were offering, combined with an incessant feed of horrifically age inappropriate materials. After finally reopening, students were screen addicted, confused, socially inept and

We have coddled, conformed, allowed, cowered, and appeased boisterous accounts like this one that threaten cancellation if another account holds a dissenting opinion. For three years, this platform allowed censorship, deletion, blackballing, and threats.
How many of us lost accounts, were temporarily and unjustly closed down, or overwhelmed by stalkers for a differing opinion? People have lost jobs, had their families threatened, and had personal information blasted on a platform for simply disagreeing with something as basic as
masking. This country is unrecognizable and we have allowed it to happen out of fear. Fear of disagreeing, fear of fake social justice, fear of fake science, and fear of false labels ranging from racist to transphobic. It’s time to refuse fear and it’s time for social

I sounded the alarms on childhood masking from day 1. Stating the obvious. Masks impeded learning, impacted speech, muffled letter sounds, and suspended socialization. A two year olds verbal capacity explodes at this developmental time and we basically taped it shut.
The only professionals benefiting from this disastrous failed mitigation are speech and language pathologists. Most times, an out of pocket expense for young families and it is costly and unnecessary. It has come to light various “experts” fighting my obvious
were not experts at all. Most have never worked with children, have never entered a classroom, many have never even had children of their own. This platform, prior to the change of ownership, catered to these so called experts and silenced many of us who were right all along.

There is a disturbing tsunami of blue state Governors finally acknowledging the nuclear learning loss and mental health issues they created. These are the same Governors who forced your children into ineffective fabric masks, knowing full well they were useless.
These are the same Governors who labeled parents who attended Board meetings as domestic terrorists. These are the same Governors subjecting your children to age inappropriate curriculum materials. These are the same Governors that encourage keeping secrets from parents,
and marketing life altering decisions while doing so. These are the same Governors who allowed teachers unions to rule like the Mafia, dictating when and how they would consider returning to in-person learning, all while lining their campaign pockets. These are the same

At what point did people in my profession decide that a successful educational model would be to keep secrets from parents, bombard children with inappropriate materials, label children as vectors, segregate parents from decision making?
It is not your job to indoctrinate, confuse, overstep, over speak, or overwhelm. Your job is to teach academics and respectfully adore students. For centuries, there were solid boundaries and codes of conducts in teacher student relationships and they’ve disappeared and
become as dangerous as our wide open border.
@rweingarten and the like do NOT have students interests at heart and they are training militant inappropriate teachers. She runs a million dollar business funding Democratic campaigns. Not students.

I am not an epidemiologist, a pediatrician, or a scientist. I’m a teacher. For 20 years. As the fancy degrees yelled at me on this platform that masks wouldn’t ruin a child’s immune system, I begged to differ. I have never allowed Purel. I always hoped they would wash their hands
The fabric masks the “experts” encouraged for two years were useless. How could anyone believe a unicorn mask with glitter was mitigating a “deadly” pandemic? It was a filthy, chewed, soaking wet Petri dish of slop. Nothing more. It was distracting, uncomfortable, and annoying.
It was damaging. Covering a child’s mouth impeded learning and RUINED their immune systems. Social distancing, bathing in Lysol, and obsessive Purel usage was insanity and unnecessary and delayed normal childhood illnesses.
