Screens are not school. Children cannot consent. Human beings are not an experiment. I will NEVER mask. Not parody.

Third time will not be charm for me. Officially #NeverTrump
I voted for him twice. Second time was harder than the first. I was already disgusted by the people he hired and surrounded himself with during the pandemic response, every one of them more awful than the next. He kept… twitter.com/i/web/status/1… an unmitigated disaster. They failed. The end. He still preaches how wonderful they are. Refusing to admit defeat. As he flew to free Florida and every frontline worker and college student in a blue state was forced to receive them in order to hold a job or an education, he ran… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

As an educator, I have watched the education system implode in this country with one part anger, one part sadness. When school buildings closed, I was afraid and I pushed to return. Children and germs have been a way of life for over 20 years. I pride myself on my immune system. Knowing children had been sent home to unsafe homes, without the meals they usually eat at school, and with zero direction or plan, I panicked. What were we thinking and why would we do this? Months turned to years for some and faces were plastered into phones

We have coddled, conformed, allowed, cowered, and appeased boisterous accounts like this one that threaten cancellation if another account holds a dissenting opinion. For three years, this platform allowed censorship, deletion, blackballing, and threats. How many of us lost accounts, were temporarily and unjustly closed down, or overwhelmed by stalkers for a differing opinion? People have lost jobs, had their families threatened, and had personal information blasted on a platform for simply disagreeing with something as basic as

I sounded the alarms on childhood masking from day 1. Stating the obvious. Masks impeded learning, impacted speech, muffled letter sounds, and suspended socialization. A two year olds verbal capacity explodes at this developmental time and we basically taped it shut. The only professionals benefiting from this disastrous failed mitigation are speech and language pathologists. Most times, an out of pocket expense for young families and it is costly and unnecessary. It has come to light various “experts” fighting my obvious

There is a disturbing tsunami of blue state Governors finally acknowledging the nuclear learning loss and mental health issues they created. These are the same Governors who forced your children into ineffective fabric masks, knowing full well they were useless. These are the same Governors who labeled parents who attended Board meetings as domestic terrorists. These are the same Governors subjecting your children to age inappropriate curriculum materials. These are the same Governors that encourage keeping secrets from parents,

At what point did people in my profession decide that a successful educational model would be to keep secrets from parents, bombard children with inappropriate materials, label children as vectors, segregate parents from decision making? It is not your job to indoctrinate, confuse, overstep, over speak, or overwhelm. Your job is to teach academics and respectfully adore students. For centuries, there were solid boundaries and codes of conducts in teacher student relationships and they’ve disappeared and

I am not an epidemiologist, a pediatrician, or a scientist. I’m a teacher. For 20 years. As the fancy degrees yelled at me on this platform that masks wouldn’t ruin a child’s immune system, I begged to differ. I have never allowed Purel. I always hoped they would wash their hands The fabric masks the “experts” encouraged for two years were useless. How could anyone believe a unicorn mask with glitter was mitigating a “deadly” pandemic? It was a filthy, chewed, soaking wet Petri dish of slop. Nothing more. It was distracting, uncomfortable, and annoying.

I’ll discuss amnesty if:
Every vaccinated person carries a card for entry EVERYWHERE that says, “I was horribly wrong.”
Don’t have it, can’t come in. Volunteer for 3 years, everyday, from 8-3 with children who are struggling with learning loss.

They need to lose their job and beg for it back.

They need to wear a mask 24/7 that says, “I’m a hypocrite and I’m sorry.”
