As an educator, I have watched the education system implode in this country with one part anger, one part sadness. When school buildings closed, I was afraid and I pushed to return. Children and germs have been a way of life for over 20 years. I pride myself on my immune system.

We have coddled, conformed, allowed, cowered, and appeased boisterous accounts like this one that threaten cancellation if another account holds a dissenting opinion. For three years, this platform allowed censorship, deletion, blackballing, and threats.

I sounded the alarms on childhood masking from day 1. Stating the obvious. Masks impeded learning, impacted speech, muffled letter sounds, and suspended socialization. A two year olds verbal capacity explodes at this developmental time and we basically taped it shut.

The fabric masks the “experts” encouraged for two years were useless. How could anyone believe a unicorn mask with glitter was mitigating a “deadly” pandemic? It was a filthy, chewed, soaking wet Petri dish of slop. Nothing more. It was distracting, uncomfortable, and annoying.
