Oh, Diane Abbott. What a daft thing to say. Travellers and Jews of course experience racism. But here's a few honest points I think very few people are actually honest about.

/1

#Antisemitism
My Jewish son does not face the same discrimination day to day as a young black or brown man, because of the simple reality that you can't identify his race or religion from looking at him.

/2
This country has severe problems with treating a lot of people badly. And often privilege is related to class, wealth and also characteristics.

In July 2022, Martin Forde KC produced a report on racism and factionalism in the Labour Party. Forde’s report had been commissioned by the party leader, Sir Keir Starmer.

/1
The report identified what it called a “hierarchy of racism”, with antisemitism taken more seriously within the party than other forms of racism. Particularl emphasis was put on the racism towards @HackneyAbbott

/2
The report was met by silence. Numerous black and Muslim MPs have spoken out, and Martin Forde himself eventually spoke out to indicate his suprise that the results of the report received so little attention or concern

This garbage is unbearable. Ex MEP, ex banker, one of the people who pushed us to Brexit. Sitting there spouting utter garbage he clearly knows nothing about.
The civil service DON'T come in at 9.30am and leave at 4.00pm. Actually statistics show they were on average 9 hours of unpaid overtime a week.

They're paid less than the private sector. And they're generally massively underresourced like every other crap government thing.
They are NOT completely unproductive. They run the entire government. The Ministry of Justice has 70k staff dealing with:

•Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service.

•Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.

•HM Courts and Tribunals Service.

It's been a lot of years of British people voting for terrible politicians , terrible policies, liars, charlatans, bigots and right-wing corrupt economics that's bled the country dry. Here's a really good illustration of why voting for this dreadful Labour to GTTO is unhelpful
The problem is that we've been offered little alternative, and when we have, like Milliband; the press side with the billionaire establishment and we end up with the same. Corbyn's nanifesto was a breath of fresh air, but they weren't going to let us actually *have* that.
Starmer is doing well in the polls? Starmer is getting sweet loving from the press?

Great.

So did
Cameron
Clegg
Thatcher
Johnson
Truss

Every AWFUL thing came in the same package

Incredibly, @Keir_Starmer hasn't even bothered to remove his website where he made 10 "promises" to us before we elected him. This level of brazen deception make the £350m on a bus look like a comparatively small porkie pie

"My promise to you is that I will maintain our radical values and work tirelessly to get Labour in to power – so that we can advance the interests of the people our party was created to serve. Based on the moral case for socialism, here is where I stand"

News everywhere that investigation into Raab found some wrongdoing. He's resigned. Everyone's talking about it and it's on every media pages front stories. Here's a reminder of what the Forde investigation found in the Labour Party

/1
• Anti-Corbyn faction used antisemitism as a weapon against Corbyn

• Evidence of deep misogyny and racism, including among senior staff

• Opinion that the BBC aired a documentary attacking Corbyn with content that was "entirely misleading".

/2
• Challenges to the findings of the EHRC reports claims of political interference

• The party had failed to ever have a complaints system fit for purpose or reasonable level of record keeping such as minutes of meetings

I watched @lisanandy respond to criticism of the Labour attack ads by telling @johnmcdonnellMP "I will not take lessons from you about civility in politics" before again hurling low, and unfair blows. So this is a thread on why I think Lisa really should take lessons Image
2/

Let's start at the beginning Lisa with looking at why the country has become divided, and a great example is your own constituency I Wigan. Below are your election results for 2010. Strong vote for Labour with strong opposition from Tory and Libs ImageImage
3/

By 2015 there was a huge boost for UKIP who almost quadrupled their vote. I'm not going to analyse too much but I think when people get sick of things bring crap they look for someone to blame. Farage offered them immigration. ImageImage
