It’s alleged in the mid-90s The Sun was even intercepting the phone calls and messages of Charles, now King Charles, and Camilla, now Queen Consort.

We also saw emails which reveal The Queen gave her “full authority” for Prince Harry to seek a resolution - because she knew about “the scale and effect of hacking and surveillance on Her family”
In emails Prince Harry said the royal family would “become a laughing stock” - unless the alleged criminality was dealt with.
News Group Newspapers are trying to get this case dismissed, saying it’s been brought too late.
Lawyers for #PrinceHarry say in the past he was “kept out of the loop” about the hacking scandal.
