It is utterly unacceptable and dangerous for senior Pentagon officials to be opining on who should and shouldn't be on TV.

Beyond that:
1) These senior Pentagon officials are absolute cowards for only cheering Tucker's departure in media after POLITICO shielded them with anonymity.
2) Worth asking: why is Tucker the only TV host (at least not on Fox) whom senior military leaders wanted off the air?

The answer:
Both CNN and NBC/MSNBC have their payrolls stuffed with former operatives of the US Security State (the career path is CIA/FBI/NSA/DoD ---> NBC/CNN contract).
*All their hosts* are loyalists of US foreign policy and wars.
They're valuable. Tucker was a key critic.
