When you've as much hell as we have from this thing for the last 3+ years then nothing susprises me anymore. It continues to get worse and worse every single day as we learn more and more about this horrendous immune depleting, multi organ destroying disease

No details as to cause of death are given: and all deaths, especially in the young are tragic and often needless. these trending hashtags are a testament to the horror that this country has become: a warzone without bombs writ large

The public must be told the truth: hiding it away and denying it is helping nobody but the virus: everybody is suffering from this one way or another: I see it every single day and is largely avoidable suffering, misery and death

Let me clarify on the death of the tragic death of the young man: I have no idea what's happened to him, and It may be completely unrelated to the virus: I just added it because all death , especially of young people, is tragic: regardless of cause
As data illustrates there has been a shocking rise in the death of young people since the pandemic started and much of that is driven by Covid itself.
But the broader point is that no death, espeically of a young person should ever be considered acceptable especially as the vast majority can be stopped: whether that be suicide, drunk driving, or an accident
As we know lockdowns had a significant benefit to children's mental wellbeing and there has long been an observed pattern of child suicide decreasing whenever schools are closed: only to rise again when they re-open: the pattern even extends to days of the week
With nonschool days seeing the fewest suicides: a horrendous testament to just how awful the system treats children in general.

Every death is tragedy and to see a 7/4x increase in young people dying since we went learn to live with it is abhorent: and everybody, regardless of views on covid, should come together to address young people
and child deaths: every single one is wrong and many are avoidable: not a single one, regardless of cause should ever be seen as anything less than a tragedy and demands our full attention so that we can help stop these awful deaths
As a society the only acceptable number of child deaths should always be ZERO: that should be the goal: NO CHILD SHOULD IS EXPENDABLE: no life is worthless: regardless of what's caused the death: we should all work to stop CHILD DEATHS. twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
