The UK Tory govt has admitted, via the VC of the Party, that they are running their next election based on persecution of LGBT+ ppl. So they have decided to breach UN & ECHR international law to do so. They are driving kids out of schools & making teachers rat on vulnerable kids.

Most people don’t understand the bathroom part for what it really is. Its about destroying lives. It’s also planned to apply it to adults. We all need to use a toilet at work or in the city. They make up around 0.71% of the population & they pass so well, as their Trans sex in the U.K. & Ireland, that bigots who hate them think that they don’t already use facilities of their choice. The new laws will ban this.

So Trans men, who look like men, will have to use the ladies & Trans women who look like women will have to use the gents. Additionally the significant % of women who don’t look like bigots ideas of what women should look like will be attacked for entering women’s toilets.

Already so-called ‘Butch Lesbians’ are having authorities called on them & masculine looking cis women are being reported too. A woman was told ‘real’ women didn’t have any facial hair!

Being Trans is not a ‘lifestyle’ or caught by ‘contagion’. It’s a normal part of the spectrum of human biology & has been recognised by science for over 100y. You are born Trans. Trans kids have it rough & are prone to suicide. Having the state persecute them is unconscionable.

These laws against equal rights for Trans ppl are being brought in in the US & are damaging childrens lives. One child tried to take their own life just watching Montana debate taking life saving medicine away from them:

Persecution of kids to win an election by appealing to far right extremists has to be a new low in Western politics. I hope every Holocaust memorial event ensures none of these politicians can get away with repeating the methods of the Nazis.

The Nazis hated LGBT+ ppl. First they beat them in the streets, then they fired them from jobs, then they reported & arrested them & finally they murdered them in the Camps. Already the U.K. has the beatings, the removal from jobs (how can they use a work toilet?) & the reporting

I’ve grown up hearing ppl say that they couldn’t understand how the Nazis were allowed by their countrymen & women & they personally would not stand for it.

The attacks on Trans ppl’s lives include dictating what clothes they can wear, where they can go, reducing their employment & human rights, reporting by teachers & neighbours, stopping their life saving medicine, encouraging suicide & dehumanisation.

Some US states are so extreme that entire families have to leave them to prevent their kids being taken by the State or to get vital medicines. A number of ‘sanctuary’ states have appeared. This is like LGBT+ & Jewish refugees trying to escape Hitler: france24.com/en/live-news/2…

In the UK, & in England & Wales in particular, many Trans & NB ppl have plans to leave & have reached out to LGBT+ ppl in other countries for advice.

A significant number have moved to Scotland. Many are considering escaping to Ireland (CTA)
